Today my daughter, Cassidy celebrated her 15th birthday. I am blessed to be her mum. She is thoughtful and kind and I am so proud of her integrity. Here she is at her birthday dinner on the weekend.
Each year for her birthday I create a fancy fold card which I haven’t tried before. I saw this Bridge fold card on Lyssa Griffith Zwolanek’s site and had to try it. I adjusted the measurements to get a larger card. Details will be posted in the next couple of weeks so keep a look out for it.
Cassidy spends hours playing the guitar, so I wanted to create a guitar card. I stamped Whisper White cardstock with the Hardwood stamp and then stamped the guitar image. I then fussy cut it and added the glitter flower. This made it a real girly guitar. Cassidy loved it.
New Products
I used a couple of products that are from the new catalogue coming out 1st June.
The Stiched Labels Framelits and stamp set has already had so much use by me. The dies are so pretty.
I have used the Delicately Detailed Laser Cut Paper as a border. It is beautiful. Adding the glitter flowers tied in really well with the colours of my Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment conveyed exactly what I feel for my beautiful girl and the DSP with the precious stones matched so well.
