12 Days of Christmas 2025 – Day 12 Postcard from the Past

It’s Day 12 of The Stamping Lounge 12 Days of Christmas and fittingly we are getting nostalgic with the theme Postcard from the Past. While I didn’t exactly create a card that looked like an old postcard, I took inspiration and elements from an old postcard and made it my own, giving it a modern twist.

I went with a slimline card and opted for soft, pastel colours with lots of white. Of course, the Perennial Postage dies were a necessary inclusion. These 2 die cuts were added to a partial doily for some vintage charm.

I customised the Very Vanilla Cardstock with stripes to coordinate and the vanilla added a warmth and vintage feel. Gold embossed poinsetties and mesh ribbon keep this card classic and elegant.
