It’s Fancy Folds galore at our Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop this month. If it’s your first time with us, we are a group from around the world who love sharing all things Stampin’ Up! We hop on the 2nd Wednesday of each month and at the time this hop goes live, it’s some time between 12am to 10pm on Wednesday around the world.
Corner Flip Card
With so many Fancy Folds to choose from, I really didn’t have a favourite. However, I chose a simple design with a creative opening. The Corner Flip Card is so easy to make and involves two slits that form an L shape which, when flipped, create the interesting corner.
I’m making this card on my weekly Creative Escape tonight and it will be up on my YouTube channel tomorrow. I will post the link on here so you can see how it’s made.
I used the beautiful Pansy suite to create this card. The Vellum doily has been coloured with Light Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends to coordinate.
Neverending Card
Part of this challenge was to create a Fancy Fold which we had never tried before. Now, I have seen several Neverending or Infinity Cards but it has been on my ‘must try’ list. So this was the ideal opportunity. I got so carried away with the Snail Mail Suite that I forgot I needed to use In-Colours! Oh well…I hope you enjoy it anyway!
This card is made with 4 panels of cardstock 7cm x 14cm. Each one is scored on the long side at 3.5cm on either side. The diagram below shows the assembly of the panels. Once you glue all the panels together, you will have a 14cm x 14cm square.
The card then keeps flipping outwards to reveal many layers and surprises.
I think this another video tutorial which will have to be made in the days to come so keep your eyes peeled!

Oh … The first card has my backing. Colorful, elegant even sophisticated, I love it! The second … you’ll laugh, my very first Stampin’Up workshop! was with this type of folded card. I hated … luckily I persevered otherwise, I would never have become a demo ^^.
Two very contrasting cards but both are lovely. I’ve had in mind to try a never ending card but haven’t managed it, so you might just have pushed me into it at last!
