Caseing the Catty CTC537 - Traditions of Christmas

Welcome to the Caseing the Catty Challenge and this week for CTC537 the crew are Caseing the Traditions of Christmas Suite which is on Pages 21-27 of the Stampin’ Up! September-December Mini Catalogue. This is a mega suite and includes 2 stamp and die bundles, Specialty Designer Series Paper, Embossing Folder, embellishments and ribbon.

To CASE is to Copy and Selectively Edit a project. This can be a direct copy or one can add your own creative variation to it. I have CASEd the sketch from this card on Page 26 and used the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty DSP pack to create my card.

This pack of paper makes it very easy to put together a quick card. I used the die cuts which come in the pack for the focal point.

The white leaves were die cut using the Delicate Pines dies and I brought in a touch of gold by adding some dots from the Elements of Text stamp set (currently on our Last Chance list) and heat embossing it in gold. Some additions mistletoe die cuts from the DSP pack have been added inbetween to fill out the arrangement.

The cardinal replaces the ribbon from the original card and some twine and Sparkling Sequins complete this festive card.
