Today’s Monochromatic Insta Hop with the Crafty Collaborations team is focussing on Night of Navy. My first instinct was to create a masculine project and then I had a shift in thinking and chose the Country Flowers bundle.
I cut 4 panels of Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper and added it to Basic White Cardstock, with a second layer behind it.
Then I added a strip of Take to the Sky DSP matte onto White Cardstock across the base layers. I felt this check pattern pulled the design together with it’s simple pattern.
The pot was watercoloured with Night of Navy and Gray Granite ink refills. I added some extra detail with the Night of Navy Watercolour Pencil. In the centre of the die cut flowers I added some light shading with the Night of Navy Watercolour Pencil and topped it with an Opal Round.
A pretty tag from the Greetings of the Season dies hangs off the edge of the pot with some Gray Granite Baker’s Twine to ‘tie’ it onto the pot.

Hello, Welcome to the New at SU blog hop for July. This month our team are showcasing our beautiful metallic products. I’ll be sharing the Thoughtful Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper which is part of the Thoughtful Journey Suite. I also added some other metallic elements to my card from our varied range of products.
On the embossed White Cardstock I roughly applied some Copper Metallic Enamel Effects with a brush. Then I added a layer of the Specialty DSP at the bottom. This pack comes in the 2024-2026 In-Colors and are shaded in an ombre style so each sheet will have a variation in colour.
Several pieces of foliage were die cut from Crumb Cake and Basic White Cardstock. For variation, I watercoloured some leaves in Wild Wheat in a very rustic fashion so that the white still showed through. On this I added some die cut Glimmer Flowers in Petunia Pop.
Some Copper Clay Linen Thread (coming in our September – December Mini Catalogue) and Metallic Enamel Effects Dots finish of this card.
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my creation. Stop by my Facebook Page at 10am AEST to see me create a variation on this card. I hope this inspires you to try out some of our Metallic and Specialty products.
Next on our hop is Sharon Dalton. Please follow our hop through for lots of beautiful metallic inspiration.

Hello Friends, Welcome to Stamping Flair. I hope you have had an enjoyable Mother’s Day. It’s our weekly CASEing the Catty Challenge blog hop and for CTC469 we are CASEing the Mix & Match pages from the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue.
CASE – Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit.
The Mix & Match section includes Ephemera Packs and Cards & Envelope Packs. These are designed to provide you with simplified options for customising your projects.
I’ve CASEd the this project from Page 21 of the catalogue. The arrangement of the sentiment is in a triangular shape and my design took it’s inspiration from that.
I started off by die cutting a triangle using the 2 largesr Deckled Rectangles. This was embossed with the Fun Patterns Embossing Folder.
This is the first card I’ve created with the Zinnias bundle and the images are lovely to colour in. I used Stampin’ Blends for this image.
I added some elements from the Spotlight In Nature bundle including the circle and butterfly. I inked up the texture image in Petunia Pop and then spritzed it with water before to stamping. I love the watercolour effect that this gives. The butterfly was blended with Pretty in Pink ink, with some details added with the Daffodil Delight Watercolour Pencil.
The card base is a tent fold as a felt the design lent itself to that and on the bottom of it I blended Petunia Pop ink. This added some depth under my focal image. I couldn’t resist adding the butterfly from this stamp set for a sweet touch.
Thank you for stopping by today. A full list of products used can be found at the end of this post. Next on our hop is Rebecca Scurr. Follow our hop through for lots of fun ideas.

Coastal Cabana from the Stampin’ Up! Brights range is a favourite of mine. It’s such a beautiful cool blue that works well with many colours. For our Monochromatic Insta Hop this week, I’ve paired Coastal Cabana with Crumb Cake as my neutral.
The large birdhouse from the Country Birdhouse bundle fit well on a slimline card. The card base measures 20 cm x 20 cm, scored in half .
I die cut the pieces of the birdhouse from Cardstock and the centre from Country Woods DSP. The main part of the house was embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder. Then I blended Crumb Cake and Coastal Cabana ink over it for a coastal wood look.
The bird was coloured with Coastal Cabana and Early Espresso Watercolour Pencils. Around it I added some flowers which were die cut from Fluid 100 Cardstock which had been painted with Coastal Cabana ink refill.
I was tossing up whether to leave the white matte layer blank and decided that it needed something a little softer to break it up. I added a panel of Country Lace Designer Series Paper at the bottom which added a subtle design and broke up the stark white background.
The centre border of White Cardstock was embossed with the Eyelet Embossing Folder and the ribbon added to the natural look I was going for with this card. This little addition just added the perfect touch to this card. The Tinsel Gems are just beautiful and on this card they look like water droplets sprinkling around the birdhouse.

For this sketch challenge at the Global Design Project #gdp398 the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper does the heavy lifting. I love this layout with it’s offset panels which shows off the different layers of paper.
The Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper has a beautiful torn paper textured look to it which gives the look of layers.
I added a layer of embossed cardstock and some specialty paper for added texture. Some hearts were die cut from Basic White Cardstock using the Share a Milkshake Dies and then embossed them with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. These were coloured with a Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend for a coordinated look.

I’ve been inspired by this sketch at Freshly Made Sketches for the design of this card. The beautiful Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper provided the focal point for my card. Just use the Blossoming Happiness Dies to die cut the images and you have some quick pre-coloured images to add to your projects.
To create the panels I blended some Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay ink on 1 rectangle. On the other I lightly blended some Coastal Cabana and then using the background die as a mask, I added Coastal Cabana through the openings. This created a subtle background for the second panel.
If you love the Hues of Happiness suite you are sure to like my class for Creative Club. You will get to create 5 cards in this class and you will receive a goodie bag with over $30 of product.
