This wintry birthday card is great for a masculine card or someone who loves the outdoors. I’ve used the Mountain Air stamp set and coordinating Majestic Mountain Dies. It also makes use of those Cardstock and paper scraps we all have laying around.
I made this card on my Creative Escape FB Live last Wednesday. My newsletter subscribers receive the tutorial free each week. Subscribe to my Newsletter HERE to receive each week’s tutorial plus other fun projects, tips and updates.

Hi crafty friend, Welcome to our suite showcase. The 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue has 10 varied and beautiful suites. Each of these suites come with it’s own range of products to make creating easy.
My suite I’ve chosen to showcase today was one of the first two I bought in my pre-order. The other was the Tea Boutique suite. I could see so many possibilities with the He’s the Man suite. What sets it apart from the other suites is the Designer Series Paper which comes with 2 sheets of die cut elements. These are so great for creating really quick projects.
The dies in the He’s All That bundle could be stand-alone dies and I love all the labels and shapes that are there which you can use in many ways. For this card, I used one of the label dies to die cut the Starry Sky Cardstock which I embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder. This added a nice contrast against the rustic colours.
The tools are from the die cut DSP sheet and all my elements were layered onto a Stitched Rectangle which was blended with Crushed Curry and Early Espresso ink.
Thank you for taking a look at my creation today and I hope to see you back real soon. Please make sure you visit our other talented creators to see their beautiful work.

Thank you for visiting me in Melbourne for our monthly trip Around the World on Wednesday. Our theme is ‘Let’s Hear it for the Boys’ with a focus on the men in our lives.
I was not quite sure which direction I was going to take with this as my partner Adrian has several passions. He loves kayaking and surfing so I initially wanted to go along that theme. Then I shifted gears as he is a talented musician, music teacher and accompanist and I wanted to create a card with that in mind. In fact we met in church where he was the pianist/organist and I was a chorister so this card seemed perfect.
I’ve made a Centre Step Easel Card which is a really easy fun fold to create.
CENTRE STEP EASEL MEASUREMENTS
Card Front – 21cm x 14.8cm (scored in half at 10.5cm)
On the top half of the card cut at 4cm and 10.8 upto the score line.
Cut out these sections.
Fold the remaining centre portion in half to form the easel.
To create the piano keys I cut strips of Basic White Cardstock at 1.5cm and Basic Black Cardstock at 1cm. The Black keys were rounded using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.
For the inside of the card I used the waves from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set to stamp the background in Tahitian Tide and Bermuda Bay (stamped off). I just had to incorporate something of the ocean (at least in name!).
The music notes were hand drawn with the Basic Black Marker and I added some Matte Black Dots to give them dimension.
When folded this card will fit in a 6″ square envelope. However, this might not end up in an envelope as I’ll probably just hand it to Adrian! By making the front panel smaller, this card will fit in a regular C6 envelope.
Although this is probably not your regular ‘guy’ card, it suits my guy and is suited for any music lover.

I’ve been having some fun creating with the Home & Garden bundle this week. Suited for any gardener but I’ve been finding that it’s especially great for those hard-to-make masculine cards.
I took inspiration for this layout from a card on Page 46 of the Annual Catalogue. If you would like a copy please request one here. For a customised look, I stamped some garden gloves, coloured them in with Stampin’ Blends and blended some colour on the background to create a coordinating panel.

Hi friends, Welcome to our Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop where on the second Wednesday of each month we share creative inspiration using Stampin’ Up! products. This month we have a sketch challenge – my favourite type to work with.
Sketches offer a great starting point for a project. Today you will see the different looks you can get with just 1 sketch and I hope you give it a try.
Each week on my Facebook Page, I feature a product and this week it’s the Home & Garden Bundle. So I’ve incorporated it with this layout to create a card for Dad. Great for a birthday card or for Father’s Day this has been combined with the He’s the Man suite from our new Catalogue.
The sentiment was inked in Versamark and Early Espresso and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I felt that it needed to be a little bit darker so I coloured over the embossing with SU100 Stampin’ Blend which made it stand out. The oval was coloured with some Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends and I added the texture stamp from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set which gave it an old leather look which I loved.
I hope you have enjoyed my take on this sketch and stop by my Facebook Page to see me make it on my Creative Escape FB Live tonight.
Follow our hop through by going through to visit Cheryll Miller next and please leave us a comment as you stop by.

Hello and welcome to our Stampers Showcase blog hop. As demonstrators we get the perk of seeing a catalogue prior to it’s release. Not only that, we also get a chance to pre-order products. This is something I look forward to with each new release of a catalogue. Seeing and touching new products is so much fun! So today our group will be sharing projects featuring products which we could pre-order starting a few weeks back.
I’m sharing the He’s the Man suite which is on pages 78-79 of the catalogue. This suite comes complete with a stamp and die bundle, Designer Series Paper which also has die cut sheets and Rustic Metallic Dots.
With images of cars, bbqs, tools, outdoor activities, hobbies and more this is the must have suite for all your masculine projects. Combine it with many of our other stamp sets for more creativity.
He’s the Man Specialty DSP also comes with 2 sheets of die cut pieces
The die set comes with labels and lots of additional pieces which lend itself to collage-style layering. I die cut one of the labels and stamped the trees from the Campology stamp set which is a perfect fit with this suite. Then I blended Cajun Craze and Early Espresso ink around it. The diamond shape die cut was also shaded with the same colours.
I layered a couple of the die cuts from the DSP pack to create my focal point with the note-book piece being one of them. You can just see the script on the circle underneath. This was meant to be covered up but I like the collage feel and when you put all the words together it says ‘I’m – Wishing you a Happy Father’s Day!’
I used the Stamparatus to stamp my Father’s Day sentiment using Early Espresso and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Markers to create the dual-coloured sentiment. Using the Stamparatus allowed me to re-stamp a few times to get a deeper colour.
I hope you love this suite as much as I do. Please follow the hop right through to get some sneak peeks from our new catalogue.
