Create it 3 Ways – Autumn with the Christmas Greenery Bundle

Today I’ve got a set of cards which I created for the Create It 3 Ways Instagram Hop which had a theme of Spooky/Autumn for this month. For this hop, we choose our own product/technique which we feature across all 3 cards. When I put my name down for this hop I knew I loved Autumn colours and didn’t even think that I had no current Autumn products to create with. So I had to improvise, using the Christmas Greenery Bundle for my Autumn cards.

Across all my cards I have used these colours and added gold highlights to complement the rich, warm tones.

Sending Hugs

I used the die to create a negative from a piece of Cardstock and ink blended through it onto the frame. Then I ink blended the die cut leaf, adding some Metallic Textures Rub-Ons across sections of it. These rub ons have been added to each of my cards as an accent.

I pulled apart the Mossy Meadow & Gold ribbon to add to the bottom, scrunching up the gold which came apart separately, nestling it on top.

Hello

For this card I pieced together several strips of Cardstock to create a cute border in my Autumnal colours. A cluster of foliage create an elegant focal point whilst still drawing the eye to the interesting strip in the background.

I coloured the Delightful Decorative Dots in Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend to coordinate while bringing in a little bit more of the Cherry Cobbler into my project.

Just a Note

A series of circles die cut from Fluid 100 Cardstock was the inspiration for this card. I inked up the small fern stamp in Darling Duckling then dipped it in a little bit of water and stamped the image, creating a light watercolour effect.

I added a die cut leaf from the Delicate Pines Dies and the gold leaf from the Metallic Textures Rub-Ons. The Holographic Resin Dots have been coloured with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blend and I just love how they look like little dew drops.
