Create it 3 Ways – Peaceful Pier Stamp Set

Happy Sunday! Today I have a set of cards featuring the beautiful Peaceful Pier stamp set in the 2025-2026 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. These were created for the Create it 3 Ways Instagram Hop with the theme of Summer this month. So make sure you check out my Instagram Page to see all the summer inspiration.

As we are right in the middle of winter here in Melbourne, I was low on my summer themed stamp sets and as I scoured through my stash, I thought the Peaceful Pier set was perfect because it featured beautiful scenes and activities in summer. I combined it with the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper which has beautiful soft beachy colours and really worked well with the theme.

Just a Note

This little boy fishing is just the cutest image and I coloured the image with Summer Splash, Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin’ Blends. I added some details with Watercolour Pencils. Then I fussy cut the image, using the scalpel from the Take Your Pick Crafter’s Tips to get all the little sections inbetween. I added some fish, coloured in Stampin’ Blends, to complete this scene.

Oh, Happy Day

For this next card, I used the Spotlight Technique to highlight just one section of the image. I stamped the entire image in Tuxed Black in the background as well as the embossed circle. Then I stamped part of it again and coloured it with a combination of Stampin’ Blends and Watercolour Pencils. The fussy cut image was added on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some colour to the background with some strips of DSP and a banner from the Weekend Adventures Scrapbook Kit.

As I created this final card, what I imagined was that that this scene was in a little picture frame which shows a ‘snapshot’ of the stamp. I’ve added a matte layer from Designer Series Paper included in Weekend Adventures Scrapbooking Kit.

The Beautiful Gallery paper provided a lovely neutral background. I felt like this little piece of artwork needed something green to make it pop and this large leaf from the Mixed Florals Dies worked really well for this layout.
