Elegant Graduation Card with the Impressions Abloom Bundle

Many of you know that in my day job I work in a Secondary School and right now it’s coming to the exciting (and stressful) year end with exams and graduations. A handmade card is a lovely way to celebrate the achievements of a graduate and makes it that much more special.

For my card, I’ve featured the Impressions Abloom Bundle, which has just made it onto the Last Chance list. This is one of my absolute favourite bundles, and I highly recommend adding it to your collection while it’s still available. What I love most about this bundle is its versatility — the stamps and dies can be used independently or together to create stunning floral clusters. The dies, in particular, offer such beautiful detail, as you can see showcased on this card.

This card began with the idea of creating watercoloured flowers. I love the organic, free-flowing look that watercolouring gives to the flowers and leaves, especially when paired with a touch of white space — it adds a fresh and airy feel to the overall design.

I paired my water coloured flowers with the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper which is also on the Last Chance list. The colour palette of this pack of paper is just beautiful. With its subtle gold accents on one side, it adds just the right touch of elegance to the project.

In the video below, you’ll see that I chose my sentiment from the Greetings for All Ephemera Pack, selecting one that fit perfectly in the space available on my card. With graduation season upon us, I chose the ‘To the Grad’ sentiment.
