Just a Note – Lovely Arrangements Bundle
It’s time for a little sneak peek of some new products launching in January. The January – April Mini Catalogue and a new batch of Online Exclusive products will drop in our store on the 6th of January.
The beautiful flowers and leaves are from the Lovely Arrangements Bundle which is part of the Lovely Blossoms Suite. This is a favourite suite of mine and has some lovely products in it including the Lovely Linen Embossing Folder used on this card. The detail is just gorgeous.
TIP: Spritz your cardstock with a light mist of water before running it through your die cutting machine. This will avoid it tearing as the embossing is very detailed.
I’ve been inspired by this sketch at Freshly Made Sketches FMS717 for my layout on this card.
To create the two-tone leaves, I inked up the stamp in Soft Sea Foam then added shading with a blending brush directly onto the stamp, in Shy Shamrock. This technique creates such a pretty look.
Behind the floral arrangement is a piece of the Splash of Sparkles Designer Series Paper. This is rather a unique paper with watercoloured patterns and touches of gold and iridescent foil through it, it has a soft and magical look to it.
