Masculine Thank You Card with Trusty Tools Stamp Set
Today’s project features the Trusty Tools stamp set—a fantastic option for the handyman in your life. I’ve created a masculine themed Thank You card using the stamps and coordinating dies.

My design has been inspired by the Just Add Ink Challenge #jai758 sketch and the parameters of the Craft Roulette Show Episode 274 which are below..
- Project – Thank You Card
- Colours – Decorations
- Elements – Hand(s)
- Random – Tone-on-Tone
This sketch is open to a variety of creative interpretations. Instead of the bow featured on the original sketch, I swapped it out for a cluster of tools, coloured with Stampin’ Blends for added depth and detail.
The colour prompt for the Craft Roulette challenge was “decorations,” so I took inspiration from baby shower themes. Soft, muted blues paired with mustard hues are very on-trend in baby wear right now, and they worked beautifully for this project. To incorporate the “hand” element, I focused on the handles of the tools. For the sentiment, I opted for a subtle tone-on-tone look by stamping in Basic Beige ink on Basic Beige cardstock, adding a soft and cohesive finish to the design.

For the card base, I chose a pattern from the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper. The plaid design gave just the right touch of masculine charm—perfect for this style of card.
To finish it off, I added a few die-cut nuts and bolts from Gold Foil Sheets. These small embellishments add just the right amount of detail without overwhelming the design, keeping it clean yet eye-catching.
