Welcome to my creative world
My style of projects include lots of layers and—just call me the Lady of Layers! I live with my adult daughter, Cassidy, and partner Adrian, in the coastal village of Blind Bight on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. By day, I work in school administration, and by night, I dive into my passion of papercrafting.
Papercrafting is more than just stamps, ink, and paper for me—it’s about the joy and relaxation it brings me. When I sit down to create, I immerse myself in the process, focusing on every detail. The happiness I feel when completing a project is something I want to share with others, teaching and inspiring them to experience that same creative fulfillment.
My journey with Stampin’ Up! began in 2015, even though I didn’t know how to stamp at the time! What captivated me were the coordinating products that made everything come together seamlessly. My papercrafting background started around 1987 when I started on Paper Tole where there was a lot of intricate scalpel work. Perhaps my love of fussy cutting started then! I discovered Stampin’ Up! in a magazine advertisement and thoroughly taken in by stamps and punches that punched out those shapes, I was hooked. Two purchases in, I joined and haven’t looked back. Along the way I’ve made many friends who I am grateful for.
I have a soft spot for our Subtles and Neutrals color ranges, with light pink tones being my favourite. Our home is sprinkled with touches of pink décor mixed with neutrals. Besides crafting, I love entertaining and cooking for friends and family. Some might say I go overboard with the food, but it’s my way of showing care and bringing people together.
As I share my creative ideas, tips, and inspiration here on this blog—whether through elegant details, vintage charm, or lovely layers—I hope to inspire you to add your unique flair to every project.
