New at SU Blog Hop - Online Exclusives - Cutest Crew

Hello and welcome to the New at SU Blog Hop for March where our projects will be focusing on our Online Exclusives range. I’ve picked the aptly named, Cutest Crew bundle for my card today.

This bundle includes a stamp and die set with a crew of cats, dogs and birds ready to add some playful charm to your projects. Additional images of flowers, butterflies and paw prints are perfect for embellishing or adding background stamping.

I chose the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper as it had a fun mix of designs perfect for my kitties. The card took a little while to come together as I was a bit undecided as to which side of the paper to use, finally opting for the Old Olive stripes (the struggle is real)! The card base changed colour several times too. Do you find yourself switching out colours too before finally settling on your final choice?

I added a small border of stamping on the background in Strawberry Slush then added the distressed Old Olive DSP panel. A label die cut using the Creative Haven Dies was cut in half and put together closer to form a more rustic flag-like banner.

The cats were coloured in a mix of Stampin’ Blends. Where there were multiple colours, I used the Colour Lifter to diffuse the edges, creating a softer edge. An angled sentiment adds to the playfulness of this card with the kitties frolicking among the flowers.
