Welcome to my blog – Stamping Flair. What a fun way to showcase some of our fabulous retiring products! I’m sure you have enjoyed having a look at the varied, beautiful projects created by all the talented demonstrators. A full list of bloggers can be found further down my post.

My project features 2 of my favourite colours which are retiring – Pink Pirouette and Soft Sky and the Bloomin’ Love stamps and dies. This was a bundle that got a LOT of use by me –  weddings, Valentine’s, birthdays – it’s just so pretty.

The Pink Pirouette layer has been stamped with the floral heart image right around. I added a little Soft Sky to 2 diagonal corners using a sponge dauber so it was very faint.  White Craft ink was applied around the edges and the Hello Friend background image was embossed in white embossing powder. As the Craft ink was still slightly damp it picked up the embossing powder and added to the distressed look.

The wreath was created by die cutting a circle and stamping the floral heart just like the square Pink Pirouette layer. Then I stamped the sentiment and attached to panel with Dimensionals  Using 2 dies I cut a circle for the base of the wreath and attached to stamped circle. I cut 4 doilies in half and cut the centres out. Then pleated them very roughly and attached to my wreath. The panel has been mounted onto the card base with Dimensionals.
