Storybook Garden Patch Card in Bright Colours
I had fun deviating from the vintage look of the Storybook Moments Suite and going with a brighter colour palette for this card using the Storybook Garden Patch bundle.
I was inspired by this gorgeous colour combination at the Color Throwdown Challenge CTD836. My immediate colour choice was Crumb Cake, Petunia Pop and Timid Tiger in our Stampin’ Up! range.
The Bee Mine Designer Series Paper provided the layers of Petunia Pop. While the small flowers on the paper had pink centres, I coordinated them with my colour palette by dotting the centres in Timid Tiger.
Brightly coloured pots and watering can made me feel like this was from a storybook – more like Alice in Wonderland! I cut out a sentiment from the Celebration Expressions Memories & More Card Pack and added some Petunia Pop pearls to complete my card.
