Hello,
Welcome to the August New at SU Blog Hop featuring products from our new 2020 Mini Catalogue. You are currently visiting Stamping Flair in Melbourne.

This is my first project featuring the beautiful Poinsetta Place Suite. This suite has so many beautiful products that allow you to create several different styles of projects. The Designer Series Paper coordinates with Bumblebee, Garden Green, Old Olive, Real Red and Soft Suede so you get a lovely array of colours.

I’ve gone with neutral colours teamed with some gold for this Christmas card. The 3 different sizes of poinsettias were stamped in Versamark and embossed with Gold embossing powder. I love those Beaded Pearls in the centre which are part of the Poinsetta Place suite. They are so elegant.

There are 2 sizes of leaves and 2 dies in each – one to emboss and one which die cuts the leaf. I stamped the fern type leaf with in Garden Green on Whisper White cardstock then I went around the edges with Garden Green using a sponge dauber. The pine cones were coloured with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.

I added a die cut border from the Early Espresso sheet from the Festive Felt Sheet Combo. This comes in a pack 4 – Early Espresso, Just Jade, Real Red and Whisper White. I think I’m going to have a little bit of fun with these sheets and can’t wait to get more crafting done with them. For the background, I used the wood pattern in the Designer Series Paper and cut it at an angle, inspired by Narelle Farugia.

I hope my card inspires you to create some Christmas cards with this elegant suite. Products used on this card are listed at the bottom of this post. Click on the Next button to hop on to Joyce Whitman’s blog and see her beautiful project.

Hi Friends,
Welcome to Stamping Flair in cold, sunny (a little bit unsure what it’s doing) Melbourne. I’m really glad that you are here and able to share in the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop. We are going to bring you projects featuring products from the outgoing Mini Catalogue. Isn’t it a wonderful catalogue?

With so much product to choose from, I went with my absolute favourite suite of products, the Tropical Oasis Suite. Perhaps, it was the palm trees and frangipani that reminded me of my Sri Lankan heritage that just drew me to this stamp set.

I have mainly used the Tropical Oasis Memories & More card pack to create my card. The large flower was fussy cut from one of the smaller cards.

I incorporated some leaves from the Tropical dies which coordinate so well with the Tropical Oasis suite. All the layers have been placed on a piece of Whisper White cardstock which has been embossed with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. This is such a lovely embossing folder and I’m sad to see it retiring.

I hope you have enjoyed my tropical project and I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment. You can create this card at home too. All products I’ve used are listed at the bottom of this post. Click on the Next button to see what lovely Dana Sullivan has prepared for you.

Last weekend I had a fun Zoom get together with some of my class attendees. We created a couple of cards together using whatever supplies each one had. One of the cards was a mystery card. It was even a mystery to me!. I provided instructions as we went along. It was quite interesting to see what each of us came up with. I’m sharing with you the card I came up with using the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.

By adding a Smoky Slate card base, it shifted the card from being very bright to a more subtle look which is what I was going for. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray to complement the Purple Posy cardstock it was layered on.
The lipsticks were fussy cut out of the DSP and arranged with the flowers, which I coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

If you love the Dressed to Impress bundle, you are going to have so much fun creating with the All Dressed Up Class in the Mail (Online Class). Orders need to be placed this evening. You will get this fun pack of happy mail and start creating in the comfort of your home guided by a PDF tutorial as well a Facebook tutorial. Kits can be shipped to any address in Australia. PDF is available globally.

Hello friends,
Well, this might be your 3rd stop by my blog in 24 hours. It has been a busy day in the crafting world! We are bringing sunshine to you no matter where you are right now. Welcome to Stamping Flair. It’s our Colour Combo Blog Hop and I’ve got a trio of cards to share with you.

I’ve used the Witty-Cisms stamp set to create my cards and have combined all 3 of our colours – Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Gray Granite on each. By selecting Whisper White as my card base, I was able to vary the intensity of the colours according to the type of card.
Each of my cards use scrap Gray Granite cardstock cut into various widths which feature in some way and add interest to these cards.

My first card is this cute baby card and gingham is such a great pattern for new born projects. The Ornate Floral Embossing Folder combined with some Purple Posy linen ribbon adds a softness which complements this card.

This graduation card has been kept simple with classic lines and some colouring in using Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.

The last card, I think would suit a retirement. This too features the Gray Granite card scrap but you can see how effective it looks at that angle. The other half of the cardstock has been embossed with the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have been inspired by my cards to give the stamp set or perhaps the scraps technique a try. All products I have used are listed at the end of this post. Next on the hop is Judith Postler. Please click on the Next button to visit her blog.

Apr 12, 2020 | Birthday, Blog Hops |
Hi crafty friends,
So glad that you are able to stop by my blog today. A very early, Happy Easter, from Melbourne to you. If it’s your first time visiting me, I hope that you have fun and enjoy looking around. For those who are regulars, I so appreciate you checking out my posts and interacting with me. We are celebrating birthdays at the Joy of Sets Blog Hop this month.
So, I created some birthday fun with my card and I think it has a bit of a disco look to it.

I had so much fun creating this background. I started off by using my Stamparatus to align and stamp the streamers in Versamark all along the top half of the card. This was done on Shimmery White cardstock. Then I spritzed it with water and sprinkled Gorgeous Grape Pigment Sprinkles over it. Sometimes, I get impatient and blot it with a tissue to help it dry but this time I let it dry by itself. I love the beautiful patterns and colours it formed. Does’t it look fun?

The piano was stamped in Tuxedo ink and coloured with HIghland Heather and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the heart section of the piano again in Stazon ink on silver foil and layered on top.
The sentiment was stamped on a leftover piece of cardstock which had Pigment Sprinkles on it. I like the way this coordinated with the rest of the card. This card makes me smile because it’s a bit of fun and the cow looks like she’s having a good time!
