It’s Something White for Day 11 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. This means the predeminant colour of the card has to be white. I love having white space in a card and really enjoyed creating this using a very simple design.
I’ve added a little bit of Balmy Blue and Gray Granite to this card. I embossed 3 strips of Basic White Cardstock with the Hive Embossing Folder which formed my backdrop for the rest of my elements. The Vellum circle was layered on a scalloped circle which I blended on the edges with Balmy Blue ink.
I added the cute bunny from the Peaceful Deer stamp set. The die cut leaves have been embellished with Wink of Stella (a little bit hard to see on the photo). I love the CAS look of this card with the clean white look.

For my Winter Sunset theme of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge, I went for a ink blended background to set the scene.
With a Blending Brush I added Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and a touch of So Saffron for the setting sun. I wanted to add a silhouette of trees but felt black would be too harsh so I stamped them in Highland Heather.
The penguin was a cute addition for my wintry scene. I stamped and punched it out then layered it on a another penguin which I punched out from Basic Black Cardstock. This gave it a shadow effect and added depth.
This was a quick card to make and would be great to make multiples of to help you through the Christmas rush.

With 11 shades of Green in the Stampin’ Up! colour range, creating ‘Something Green’ for the #30DayChristmasCardmakingChallenge was quite easy.
I went for the obvious choice – leaves from the Leaves of Holly bundle. This is a two-step stamp set however I’ve been using the detail stamp on it’s own. I love how effective it is stamped here in Mint Macaron.
I added some ink blending on the Soft Sea Foam card base with Mint Macaron ink.

We’ve been challenged by Martin Stone with a sketch challenge for the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. I must say, I did struggle with this one as I was a bit stumped with the 3 elements on it and tying it all together.
I ended up choosing the tree rings from the Ringed with Nature bundle to form part of my sketch. Two sizes of Stitched rectangles formed the base of the sketch.
The beautiful Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper provided my fussy cut elements along with some die cut leaves to make these elements flow together. I’ll be ordering my second pack of this paper as I’m running through it so quickly! It’s great for all seasons.

There are many ideas for warm and cosy which is Day 3 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. There are also quite a number of stamp sets in the Stampin’ Up! mini catalogue that would fit this theme. Unfortunately, I don’t have any of these! So, this was definitely a challenge for me and I set about to create the warm and cosy mood by recreating the look of a blanket.
I chose these colours as it reminded me of a cosy home filled with warmth. For my ‘blanket’, I added Balmy Blue ink through one of the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks. Then I added stripes with Cajun Craze and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Markers.
Then of course I had to add this cute dog to remind us of the cosiness of home. Some extra elements add more texture and interest to this card.
