Sketchtember Challenge – Day 30 Background Technique with Masks
Can you believe it? We are at Day 30 of my Sketchtember Challenge celebrating my birthday month. I don’t think I can believe it! What a fun challenge that I got to share with you.

The Apple Blossoms dies have so many beautiful add on elements that you will want to accessorise your Apple Harvest stamp set images with.

To create the checked background I first blended Parakeet Party ink through the mask with the larger squares. Then I added the mask with the smaller squares on top of the other mask and applied Bermuda Bay ink to create the pattern.
The frame was coloured with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends and the apple image with a variety of colours.
- Apple outer – Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Color Lifter
- Apple inner – So Saffron, Pale Papaya, Medium Light, Ivoty
- Leaves – Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green
- Stem – SU500 Medium, Ivory
- Flowers – Pale Papaya
