Anzac Day Thank You with Bitty Blooms
As we commemorate ANZAC day, we do so with gratitude for the sacrifice that was and continues to be made by men and women to keep us safe in this blessed land we call home – Australia. I think of the families of those who serve our country. They are without a husband, wife, dad, mum, son, daughter, brother, sister – all their lives are affected by wars and conflict when their loved one is serving their country.
To all these wonderful people who have served and continue to serve our nation, Thank You,
Today I’ve come up with a simple Thank You card using the One for All stamp. Do you buy stamp sets that sit there uninked and then they retire? Well, this was one of mine. I have used the Stamparatus so I didn’t have to move the stamp at all when I re-inked for the different colours. Post-it-Notes were used to mask off the sentiment when I inked up the leaves- first in Pear Pizzazz and then I added some Mossy Meadow with a sponge dauber.
I masked off the leaves and then stamped the sentiment in Black Stazon ink. The Stamparatus makes it so easy when stamping mutliples times.
The poppies were so simple to create with the Bitty Blooms punch pack. The centres were punched out as well and glue dots were my best friend in this process.
I die cut several leaves from Glossy cardstock and sponged a mix of Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow over it. Adding the darker leaves at the back gave it depth. The base card has been embossed with the Subtle embossing folder for that little bit of texture without taking away from the main image. It’s hard to pick up on a photo sometimes because it’s that subtle!. It has a lovely look of linen card and works for all types of cards.
Hope you have a wonderful day and be filled with thanks.
