Hello, Welcome to the New at SU blog hop for July. This month our team are showcasing our beautiful metallic products. I’ll be sharing the Thoughtful Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper which is part of the Thoughtful Journey Suite. I also added some other metallic elements to my card from our varied range of products.
On the embossed White Cardstock I roughly applied some Copper Metallic Enamel Effects with a brush. Then I added a layer of the Specialty DSP at the bottom. This pack comes in the 2024-2026 In-Colors and are shaded in an ombre style so each sheet will have a variation in colour.
Several pieces of foliage were die cut from Crumb Cake and Basic White Cardstock. For variation, I watercoloured some leaves in Wild Wheat in a very rustic fashion so that the white still showed through. On this I added some die cut Glimmer Flowers in Petunia Pop.
Some Copper Clay Linen Thread (coming in our September – December Mini Catalogue) and Metallic Enamel Effects Dots finish of this card.
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my creation. Stop by my Facebook Page at 10am AEST to see me create a variation on this card. I hope this inspires you to try out some of our Metallic and Specialty products.
Next on our hop is Sharon Dalton. Please follow our hop through for lots of beautiful metallic inspiration.

Hello and welcome to our Ink. Stamp. Share monthly blog hop. Our theme this month is Spring/Summer Sale-A-Bration and I chose the Garden Wishes stamp set for a floral take on this theme.
I wanted to show a softer card using the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. For the design of this card, I began by choosing my colour palette. I started off by picking Misty Moonlight which was a colour in the DSP. I do this quite often as it gives me a starting point to pick my coordinating colours. Plus with our amazing colour coordinated products it’s just easy to match cardstock and embellishments.
I watercoloured a panel of Shimmery White Cardstock with Pool Party and Misty Moonlight as a backdrop for the dandelion. Watercolouring is a great technique for achieving a soft look to your projects. Then I added some extra leaves die cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock. Some extra colour was added with Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. The edges of the flower and leaves were sponged with Soft Suede giving some warmth to the stark white edges.
Some Bumblebee Gingham Trim ties in with the dandelion and I’ve added a cute Ladybug Trinket to embellish the card. Isn’t it cute?
I hope my project inspires you to use your Designer Series Paper with alternate colour palettes and have fun creating! Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment. I’d love to hear from you.

Welcome to another Colour Combo Blog Hop. I’m a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. Today, we are mixing Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron and Soft Suede for our blog hop. Quite an unusual colour palette with the Soft Suede in the mix but it sure gets the creative mind working.
Mint Macaron as a colour always makes me think of macarons. The idea began to form in my head with macarons and berries and milkshakes – mint and pale pink. I had something close to macarons – and that was cookies. It was time to open my Nothing’s Better than Bundle which just arrived in my last delivery. Now this is a bundle that at first didn’t catch my eye in the Annual Catalogue. However, I saw so many cute projects made with it that I just had to get it. Have you experienced this before?
I started by creating 2 panels of water colour washed cardstock in Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry. The softness that the wash creates was the look I wanted. Once dry, I used the Best Plaid die to cut out the Rich Razzleberry panel and cut that down. This is a very quick and easy background to create.
The cookies are two-step stamped in Soft Suede. For the base layer, I stamped off twice to achieve a very light shade. Then I stamped the choc-chips in full strength Soft Suede.
Does this card resonate with you at the moment? In lock down, we sure are running to the pantry and refrigerator a whole lot more than we would normally do!

I used the Gold Mini Pizza Boxes which are in the Wrapped in Plaid suite and embossed it with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder. In order to emboss all sections of the box, I had to insert it several times in the die cutting machine. Some sections were overlapped as the box was too wide and I added shims on top instead of the top plate.
The card uses a panel of Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper and then adhered a piece of embossed Gold Foil on top. The trees have been stamped in Melon Mambo and I stamped and punched a second set for the Mini Pizza Box at the same time.
I like the pink against the Soft Sea Foam and Shaded Spruce, giving a different colour palette for this paper. Then I cut 2 strips of DSP for the box and wrapped one piece around the bottom, cutting off excess, adding the other piece on the lid of the box and doing the same. Then I wrapped the twine right around.
Top Tip
Wish you had a third hand when tying bows? Use a glue dot to hold the first knot to the box. Then tie another knot to secure and tie your bow. The glue dot stops the twine from slipping around. This also works for ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog – Stamping Flair. A few weeks ago I created this card for Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlights. I was so thrilled to find out that I was picked in the top ten. Thank you so much for voting. You can find out all the details for this card HERE.
Today the top ten winners are participating in a blog hop and I am so excited to take part alongside these talented demonstrators. Thank you to Kylie Bertucci for hosting this event. Our theme for this hop is Encouragement.
It appears that I have stuck to the same kind of imagery – cute little animals. I didn’t even think about it until I started comparing the cards. For today’s cards, I have used the bunny from the beautiful, Nature’s Beauty stamp set which is on Page 63 of the Holiday Catalogue. I stamped the image in Soft Suede on Shimmery White cardstock and then watercoloured it using Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Crushed Curry and Early Espresso Watercolour pencils.
The Come to Gather Designer Series Paper is featured on both my cards. This DSP has images of pumpkins and autumn leaves and is part of the Come to Gather suite. As you can see, the designs work well on any type of project.
The DSP has a bit of a country feel to it and I thought the addition of a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock embossed with the Corrugated embossing folder added a rustic feel to coordinate with the wood DSP. An encouraging sentiment from Harvest Hellos has been added together with the ribbon under the Shimmery White cardstock panel.
Measurements:
Cajun Craze – 21cm x 14.8cm (scored in half), 7cm x 10.5cm (Stitched Rectangle)
Crumb Cake – 4cm x 14.5cm, scrap for sentiment
Pretty Peacock – 2 1/4″ circle
Shimmery White – 2″ circle
DSP – 9.9cm x 14.2cm, 5.5cm x 9cm
