So we come to the last day of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. It’s been so much fun. Today’s theme is Wreathed in Joy.
I used the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies and traced around it with pencil. Then I stamped the leaves along this circle. I really love the look of the Pacific Point berries on this card. Once all the images were stamped, I erased the pencil line. Stamping the wreath this way was something I learned from Mikaela Titheridge.
The wreath was layered onto a square card to complement the image.
A cute edge was added with the Very Best Trio punch. I really love how these colours worked together to make this wreath.
Tip
To get the same design on opposite sides with the Very Best Trio Punch, flip your Cardstock over so the design matches when punched out.

This theme is always a tricky one for me in the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. What do you give the Bah Humbug in your life? I thought perhaps an Easter card! However, it is a Christmas cardmaking challenge and I’ve gone simplistic.
I chose the smallest tree I could find (no big pine trees for Mr. Scrooge), with a simple monochromatic colour scheme for this miserable soul! Each of the square layers has been embossed so the card isn’t too drab – just because I couldn’t help myself.
I chose a sentiment that is quite neutral with no reference to Christmas and die cut it with the Christmas Banners Dies. By adjusting the placement of the die I could make it a shorter height.

I’m playing along with the Colour Inkspirations Challenge CI132. With the accompanying photo, it was hard not to go along with the beachy theme.
Instead I went with what seems to be my next favourite, the bird from the Perched in a Tree stamp set. I heat embossed the image in Silver and then coloured it in with Watercolour Pencils. I used colours that were similar to the challenge for this part of my card.
With the sentiment banner I really wanted to add a bit of a floral image so I went with the Fitting Florets collection. I coloured the image with Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
In this photo you can see the pretty Snowflake Vellum oval which adds a lovely soft touch behind the bird.
Thank you for stopping by and make sure to come by later when I’ll have another card for you for Day 7 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge.
We’re In the Snow for Day 2 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. I’ve skirted around the theme with products having the word ‘snow’ in it’s name!
If you haven’t got some of the Snowflake Specialty Vellum you must get yourself some! It is beautiful. I love that you get the White Vellum Sheets, which is what I’ve used on my card today, and you get Iridescent Foil Sheets which pick up the colours around it.
I used the Leaves of Holly bundle, stamping the leaves in Crumb Cake to create a wintry look. Then I added some die cut twigs from the Harvest Dies to give the effect of branches that have shed their leaves.
On top of the leaves I added some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. This is a liquid which you apply which is then heat embossed to give the puffy effect of snow.
