For Colour Palette #35 I chose to feature the Christmas Classics bundle. I really love the square die cut with the beautiful filigree leaves around it in this die set and the several sentiments which you can mix and match in the stamps.
Die cutting the outer layer from Basic White Cardstock, I blended Garden Green and Blueberry Bushel ink over it. Then I inked up the sprig stamp with Versamark ink and stamped randomly across the leaves. Heat embossing in White gave it the look of snow.
The berries were inked up in Pumpkie pie and then I just tilted the stamp a little bit to ink up the sides of the berries in Pecan Pie. It is a minimal amount of colour but it still includes our entire colour palette. At the back, a strip of Winder Meadow Designer Series Paper in Pebbled Path neutralises the darker colours.
The Christmas Classics bundle is on our Last Chance list and will be retiring on 3rd January. If you love it, then make sure you order it while supplies last.

Welcome to our New at SU Blog Hop for October. Our theme this month is a sketch inspiration using some new product from the Stampin’ Up! September – December Mini Catalogue. There are many ways to interpret this theme and for lots of inspiration, make sure you follow our hop all the way through.
I’ve chosen the Translucent Florals bundle and paired it with one of our special release Designer Series Papers. The Delightful Floral DSP is 1 of 5 papers that are a special release which are available while supplies last. This pack is just my style with florals and pinks it was quickly added to my collection. It perfectly coordinates with the Translucnet Florals bundle.
To create the flower I die cut a set of petals from Basic White Cardstock and the same set from Vellum. The Basic White layer was blended with Berry Burst ink and then layered with the vellum for a soft look. The centre was die cut from the DSP.
The leaves were inked up in Parakeet Party and then I added Pretty Peacock on the tips with a Sponge Dauber to create the variegated look.
The main part of the sketch was formed with DSP and a blended embossed panel. This was separated by a label which was die cut from the DSP using the Christmas Classics Dies.
Butterflies and one of my favourite products, Black Gingham ribbon (because it just works with so many projects!) complete this card.
Last night on my FB Live I created another card using this sketch and the Modern Garden bundle. Watch the video below.
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy all the wonderful inspiration from our team.
