Simple Sketch with Cherish the Season Stamp Set
Day 28 of the #30DayChristmasCardmakingChallenge is a colour challenge with Real Red, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray. I love using the neutral shades in the Stampin’ Up! colour range. They provide a great base for cards and can help to soften strong colours.
I first chose the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper for the Real Red component to match my Basic Gray card base. I die cut this with the Layering Squares die set which has coordinating sizes that work with the Stitched Shapes Dies. This card sketch is nice and simple and would be a great card to making multiples of.
I stamped some pine leaves in Smoky Slate and layered this on Real Red cardstock to create a contrast against the crisp White background. A die cut Silver ornament keeps this card simple yet elegant. For some added texture, I layered the sentiment on Red Velvet Paper.
All the products I’ve used on this card are listed below. The ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper is currently at 15% off during our paper sale which offers a discount on a selected range. Click on the image below to shop the sale.
