To an A+ Teacher – Sunday Stamps ssc216

Hi crafty friends,

It’s coming to that time of the year when we start thinking of teacher appreciation gifts and cards. In my daytime job, I work in a school office. At Christmastime it’s such a lovely feeling when everyone exchanges gifts and all the staff pigeon holes are overflowing with cards, chocolates and other lovely surprises. This card using the Harvest Hellos would be the perfect thank you for an A+ (for Awesome) teacher.

This bundle comprises of the Harvest Hellos stamp set which includes a pumpkin as well which can be punched out with the Apple Builder punch. Purchase the bundle and you save 10% and this applies to all bundles in our catalogues. This makes a nice saving.

Teacher thank you card with apple coloured with Stampin' Blends

The apple and leaf have been stamped in Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with a combination of Stampin’ Blends. Then these were punched out and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The stem has been punched out from Early Espresso cardstock.

I used the Stitched Labels dies for my sentiment and embellished the cards with the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels which are another one of what I call, ‘hidden gems’ on Pg 58 of the Holiday Catalogue.

Stamper’s Showcase Blog Hop – Happy Fall Y’all

Hi Friends,

Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog today. I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Australia and we are currently right in the middle of Spring and already experiencing some very warm days. Our theme for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop this month is Fall or Autumn for us Aussies. So my mind had to shift back to the cooler days of autumn.

I love the colours of autumn and I chose the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper to create this card. I have used the Holiday Haul host stamp set for my fun image with the truck and autumn leaves.

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop, Fall handmade card, Truck with autumn leaves

Have you had a look at this stamp set? It’s on Page 61 of the Holiday catalogue and has a lot of fun images. You can mix and match several stamps to create various images.

I stamped the truck in Old Olive and the leaves in Mango Melody. To make the bow I used 2 strands of twine and tied a regular bow then I attached it to my sentiment, adding the cork flower.
