Hi Friends,
So nice to have you here today. I really value your support and visits. I also have a Facebook and Instagram account in which I post a few different items so would love for you to stop by there and have a look.
How has your week been? They seem to be going really fast for me. Less than 4 months for Christmas – how fast did that come around? Timely that our Holiday catalog is here and we can get a headstart on all our Christmas preparations.
Today’s Step-it-Up Sunday is featuring one of my favourite stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog – Country Home. Are you getting a bit of an idea that I like ‘country’ things? It has a couple of options with flowers and cans so you can mix and match I used the Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper layered on Tranquil Tide and Crumb Cake card stock to form the base for my card.
Basic

This is a very quick card to make but effective. Stamp the can and flowers in Crumb Cake on Whisper White cardstock and layers on to a Tranquil Tide panel. The ribbon has been attached with Tear & Tape adhesive.
Intermediate

To step this card up, colour in the can with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. The flowers have been coloured in with Stampin’ Write markers – Tranquil Tide, Pear Pizzazz, Mango Melody, Blackberry Bliss and Powder Pink. Add a section of Chicken Wire behind the can. I really like the rustic look of the Chicken Wire elements. As it’s silver on one side and white on the other, you can colour it to suit any project.
The sentiment has been inked up in Versamark ink, then immediately in Blackberry Bliss ink and then stamped. Pour Clear Embossing Powder over and heat emboss.
Advanced
For the next card, I created a panel of Tarnished foil with Blackberry Bliss ink. I loved how the rich tones of the Blackberry Bliss ink work with this beautiful Tin Tile Embossing Folder. This is a really popular Embossing Folder. I saw another demonstrator had embossed their Thanksgiving serviettes with it. It looked amazing. So there’s another use for your embossing folders.

These are the steps to achieve the look. You need to heat emboss between each step.
- Run the Stazon ink pad down the Champagne foil cardstock. Do this from both ends. Use heat setting 1 to dry it.
- Emboss in the Tin Tile embossing folder
- Apply Versamark to sections of the cardstock and add Copper embossing powder
- Repeat Step 4 using Silver embossing powder instead
- Add Blackberry Bliss ink to sections of the cardstock and pour Clear embossing powder over the panel. This seals in the Blackberry Bliss ink.
- Repeat Step 1
I love this technique and the colour just adds a little bit extra to tie in the rest of the project.
To complete add a bit of tulle ribbon using Tear & Tape.

If you would like to get these products and have a look at the rest of the Holiday Catalog, please contact me. I will send one out to you. I would love to help you in your creative journey.
Have a lovely week and keep on crafting.

Today’s colour combination incorporates some bright, fun colours and really makes me think of summer. Lemon Lime Twist and Daffodil Delight remind me of fruit punches and Lovely Lipstick is like a slushie.

I used panels of the In-Colour Designer Series Paper to be the base for my bottles. These papers which are available in our entire range of colours are fantastic as there is always a matching DSP to suit your project. Each colour comes in 4 designs.

Two designs can be seen on this card. The Whisper White panel was stamped to create a fun, bubbly look and it brings all the colours together.
The bottles were stamped and die cut. I wanted the drinks to look like they had just been taken out of the fridge so I die cut them in Vellum. To adhere the Vellum to the base bottle, add the glue under the labels so it won’t be visible. I added a little more glue under the bottle tops which were die cut from foil.

This is a fun summery card and the bottles make it ideal to give as a celebratory card or thank you to a host for a party.

Yesterday our fun group of ladies got together to learn the tarnished foil technique. We then used the same method of dragging ink to paper and heat embossing to create 2 other cards with regular cardstock instead of foil.
These were the 3 cards created with men in mind as it’s Father’s Day today.

Here’s some photos of the ladies in action. Embossing powder in all colours everywhere. Lots of inky fingers!

Direct to paper technique was used once the cardstock was embossed with the Ruffled Embossing Folder. This picked up all the detailing of the ruffles.

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are enjoying the weekend and having some relaxation time. The sun is shining today and it’s a lovely day here in the little coastal town of Blind Bight. The days seem to be getting longer and it’s not as dark when I drive home from work, so that’s nice. Spring is on it’s way.
Being up in a hot air balloon would be nice on a clear, sunny day. I’ve got the song ‘Up, Up and Away in my Beautiful Balloon’ in my head. Ok, no comments about the age!
The Up and Away dies and stamps create some great cards for people who like the outdoors and generally a good masculine card. However, on the Advanced card I couldn’t help adding glitter .. oh well!
Basic

This simple card layout is very quick to put together. Stamp the images on Whisper White cardstock and layer it onto Poppy Parade cardstock. Then add the strip of Designer Series Paper and mount the stamped panel on top.
Have you seen the Designer Series Paper in our entire range of colours? They are available in 6″x6” packs in each colour family and you will always have DSP to match any project you are making.
Intermediate

To step this card up, add some panels of Whisper White cardstock which have been stamped with the Post Script background stamp in Mint Macaron. Stamp the 3 balloons in Grapefruit Grove, Poppy Parade and Night of Navy. Die cut. Adhere the Poppy Parade balloon with liquid adhesive and the other 2 balloons with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Advanced
Stamp the Whisper White panel with the Artisan Textures stamp in Pool Party ink. This gives a nice base for the sky.
So this is where I took this card and just had to add glitter to the clouds. Stamp and die cut several clouds. Then take a little Shimmery White Embossing paste and add a couple of drops of Mint Macaron ink refill. Mix well and apply to clouds using a palette knife. Doing this step on a silicon craft mat makes cleaning up easier.

Stamp the sentiment on a Whisper White strip of cardstock. Then die cut a banner from Night of Navy cardstock, cut in half and attach behind the sentiment.
This banner die is very useful in that it die cuts an outer part as well which can be used. You could have the center in one colour and the outer border in another.

Father’s day is next Sunday so if you would like to make some more masculine cards using a fun technique, please join me for class this coming Saturday and enjoy some crafting time.
Have a wonderful week.

Hi friends,
Welcome to Stamping Flair and thank you for stopping by. It’s a start of another week and I hope you’ve got some great things planned. I’m looking forward to getting my pre order from the Holiday catalogue. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. If you would like a copy of the catalogue please contact me. There’s nothing quite like flicking through the pages of a beautiful book full of ideas to get you creating.
The stamp set I have used for today’s Step-it-Up Sunday is called Country Livin’. It has 3 images – a guitar, country boots and a truck which was the only stamp I hadn’t used as yet. I am really happy that I got to use it today with the country look I tried to get on the card. I love all things country so this stamp set was a must have for me.
As I did last week, again I have used the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series paper for a non Christmas card. DSP is versatile and because it is double sided you are not restricted to any particular season. Just let your imagination take you anywhere with your creations. I think today’s card is a great masculine card if you need some inspiration for men’s cards.
Basic

Create the base of this card with layers of Wood Textured DSP and Under the Mistletoe DSP. Stamp the image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colour with Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. I didn’t do any shading with the Stampin’ Blends, I just used them like regular markers. Colour the grass with Granny Apple Green water colour pencil. Mount this panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow on Pear Pizzazz cardstock and punch out using the Darling label punch.
Intermediate

To step up the Basic card, add a layer of Crumb Cake cardstock which has been embossed with the Woodland embossing folder.
I distressed the edges of the Wood Textured DSP and the Whisper White panel using the long edge of the paper snips. The Stampin’ Up paper snips work really well for this. They are very sharp and if you haven’t got yourself a pair, I highly recommend them. They are great on paper and ribbons.

Using a sponge dauber, apply Early Espresso ink to the edges of the panels to give an aged look.
Advanced

In this card I used quite a few colours of Stampin’ Blends however if you don’t have them all, just work with what you’ve got – it will be fine. Alernately use Water colour pencils or Stampin’ Write markers, whatever works for you.
My first step up on this is to add some Early Espresso to the raised parts of the embossed Crumb Cake layer. The DSP layers are the same as before. Die cut a label in Early Espresso using the second largest label from the Stitched Seasons bundle. Cut this in half and adhere the 2 halves together to form a smaller label. The join is covered by the truck.
To complete the Advanced card, stamp the truck twice. Colour one image with Stampin’ Blends and colour only the grass section of the second image. Use a scalpel to cut 2 slits in the grass on the second image just under the tyres. Then attach the first image on top of this by inserting the tyres into the slits and add liquid glue just under the tyres to stabilize it. Mount up the rest of the truck with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Add this on top of your label with Dimensonals.
Stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow onto Whisper White cardstock and attach to a Pear Pizzazz layer. Attach this with Dimensionals to look like it’s being carried in your truck.

For an added country feel, stamp 3 images of corn from the Blended Seasons bundled. Colour in with Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut. Attach with liquid glue. To create the bow, cut 2 pieces of twine, attach together and tie a bow. Finish off with a button.

The Blended Seasons Bundle is only available until 31st August, while stocks last. The double stitching on the frames are beautiful and can be used in so many ways. If you love the bundle then don’t miss out on ordering it.
I love hearing from you so please leave a comment or enquiry and I will reply to you.
Have a creative week.
