Don’t Let Worry Spoil Your Happy

Another quick card with the pretty, Everything is Rosy Project Medley – this massive kit that enables you to create to your heart’s content.  My chosen card base is Gray Granite and I love the soft look of this against the beautiful rich colours on the Designer Series Paper which come in this Medley.

Handmade Card with Banners and Rose Gold Paper

I then embossed the Melon Mambo panel with the Layered Leaves embossing folder. This combines well with the Rose Gold leaves on the patterned paper. The layering of 2 different patterned papers work well in this case as one is lighter and has a smaller design, while the Night of Navy paper stands out against this with the Rose Gold leaves. I used the Triple Banner punch to create the banners and layered ribbon around this at the top for a coordinated look.

The Rose Gold border has been die cut with one of the intricate dies that come in this 10 die set. It’s absolutely beautiful and adds so much elegance to a simple project.

This is a lovely encouragement card and is bound to cheer anyone up.

Class in the Mail, Beautiful You

May Class in the Mail is All About Beautiful You

For the month of May I have focused on a lovely stamp set called Beautiful You. Ever since it’s release a couple of years ago it has been extremely popular. This is a 2 set stamp set and is filled with motivational and uplifting sentiments. It features some beautiful images of women and with Mother’s day coming up next week what better stamp set to feature this month than this particular set.

Beautiful You Stamp set by Stampin' Up!, Stamp image

I have teamed this up with elements from the Love What You do stamp set. This too has words of encouragement and some great floral images. April Class in the Mail – Bloom by Bloom

April Class in the Mail, Stampin Up, Stamping Flair, Rochelle Laird-Smith

Class in the Mail for April uses the floral Bloom by Bloom bundle. I was a bit of a late ‘bloomer’ on falling in love with this bundle and now that I’ve started using it I’m loving it. What I love are the various types and sizes of flowers and leaves and the abstract look of them. The Bitty Blooms punches are so easy to work with and I find them great to create flowers as intended or centres of flowers for the stamps or even as embellishments.

Bloom by Bloom bundle

The Happiness Blooms suite in the Occasions catalogue has it’s own Designer Series Paper which is a mix of bright colours.

For my card set this month I’ve chosen to work with a different colour palette and some pastel shades. It gives the stamp set a totally different look.

To get your PDF which includes instructions and photos to make 4 cards all you need to do is place a minimum order of $60 using the current Host Code XN6TFXAU. I will email you the PDF and mail you a thank you card, card bases and envelopes upon receipt of notification of your order. Orders can be sent anywhere in Australia.

March Class in the Mail – Classic Garage

Well, this has been something I’ve been mulling over for some time now and I am so excited to launch this brand new feature – Class in the Mail. It is going to be a hassle free way for you to do crafting at home because I do the planning of each class. Each month I will bring you a selected stamp set or bundle and create 4 different cards with it. You don’t need to spend time thinking and planning. You can just go straight into the creating part.

Each month I will give you a little preview of the cards so you have an idea of what the cards will be like.

Please see About Class in the Mail for the full details. Here you will also find some products that you will need to complete cards each month.

I know it’s not March yet but I really wanted you to have the benefit of this early. With Sale-A-Bration ending in March it’s a great opportunity to get some of those free items. Stampin’ Up! have cleared out of stock of some of the really popular items from the first release. So if you’ve got your eye on any products, make sure you get them because it’s only while stocks last. Have you checked out the beautiful second release items? I received mine yesterday and they are all beautiful. And those Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper – so pretty.

For this first edition of Class in the Mail, I have prepared cards from the Classic Garage suite of products. It’s featured in the Occasions catalogue and is really great for those masculine cards. The suite comes with a stamp and die set. Purchase the bundle and save 10%.

With some great images for Father’s Day as well, really plan in advance for Australian Father’s Day in September as well as birthdays and anniversaries. There’s something for all occasions. I particularly like the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper. Check out all the great images including a motorbike. The bright colours mixed in with some darker shades make it easy to create cards to suit different personalities. What’s more, the dies also cut out the the Designer Paper so you can get a fun multi-coloured cog or oil can without having to do any colouring yourself.

Place an order for a minimum of $60 using this month’s Host Code FBNFPZ9D If your order is over $250 then don’t use the Host Code because you will receive Host Rewards.

If you choose to increase that order to $90 you will also receive a free Sale-A-Bration item until the end of March.

Once I receive notification of your order, I will email you the PDF file which contains all the measurements, directions and colour photos to create the 4 cards I have prepared. I will also mail you a Thank you card,  4 card bases and envelopes needed to create the month’s project. This can be mailed to you anywhere in Australia. The PDF, card bases and envelopes are supplied at no extra cost to you.

The PDF only is available for purchase at $10. Payment to be made via Paypal.

So what have I got in store for you this month? March Class in the Mail will have you prepared with a good range of cards for men. PDF has photos, tips, cutting instructions and lots more.

Below is a list of the items that you will need to complete the cards. You can however, substitute them to suit you. I recommend using Clear Blocks b,c and h for these projects.
