Pretty Petal Promenade – Focus on DSP

To kick off the working week, I’ve got 2 more cards with the Pretty Petal Promenade Paper – the 4Ps. As I said the other day, I love this paper. It can be dressed up for a wedding or used to make a sympathy card as the floral images are versatile and work well with the background images on the reverse side,

This card has been embossed with the Tufted embossing folder. The photo doesn’t capture the entire beauty of the folder but the depth of the embossing is like a quilt. This folder caught my eye as soon as I got my Annual catalogue and went on my first order.

On top of this is a layer of Lovely Lipstick DSP from the 2018-2020 In-Colour Collection. I love the range of Designer Series Paper in the different colour families. It makes it so easy to create a colour coordinated card with ease. This is something Stampin’ Up has perfected with coordinating cardstock, paper ribbons and embellishments – everything to make it so much easier and fun.

The leaf frame is from the Designer Series Paper which I fussy cut outside and inside the frame as well. I stamped the Very Vanilla panel inside the frame with the Artisan Textures stamp in Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo which has been stamped off a couple of times.

3 flowers from the Blossoms Elements embellishments offset the printed flowers. These flowers are such a cute addition to our embellishment range. They come in a mixed pack of 18 flowers in Calypso Coral, Petal Pink and So Saffron and are $14 a pack. That’s .77 cents per flower which is inexpensive and they add that special touch on a card.

The sentiment is stamped on Tea Party DSP and die cut with the Stitched Labels die.

How gorgeous is the paper on this next card? I have created a very simple thank you card but could you imagine this as a background for a wedding card? The Mossy Meadow Card base with the Very Vanilla matte really makes this card pop.

I punched a vellum circle and then layered different elements on top of it. First was a banner in Grapefruit Grove, then that beautiful Whisper White tulle ribbon and gold sequin trim. The sentiment is from the Stitched All Around stamp set. Super simple with no image really necessary because I wanted to show the DSP.
