Hello crafty friends,
Thank you for visiting my blog – Stamping Flair today. You may be starting here or coming from seeing the lovely Kate Bolt’s project. All of us in the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop this month are bringing you a variety of projects from the Mini Catalogue. This catalogue runs through to June however the Sale-A-Bration promotion ends on the 31st March.
I chose the Painted Poppies bundle and Peaceful Moments bundle for my projects. Although I love the colour palette of the Peaceful Poppies suite, I chose a vastly different set of colours for my cards.
What I really like about this card is the simplicity of the layout. Adding the different designs of the Smoky Slate Designer Series Paper creates interest. The stamping is simple – stamp the line image in Tuxedo Black and add the ‘splotches’ (you know what I mean!) stamp in Daffodil Delight.
I embossed the Whisper White panel in the beautiful Stone embossing folder. This is part of the Power of Hope Sale-A-Bration bundle which is a free product that can be earned with a $180 order.
This next card involved my new favourite – Pigment Sprinkles. I started off by die cutting the flower base from Shimmery White cardstock. Then I spritzed with water and sprinkled Daffodil Delight Pigment Sprinkles on it. Spritz a bit more water – if required. Little is much when using this product. So start with a few taps on the bottle to get some powder out and then increase to the depth of colour you like.
Isn’t is just lovely how the sprinkles ‘burst’ and create it’s own design?
TIP: Make sure your hands are completely dry before moving onto any other part of your card as any liquid will activate it – even glue! First hand experience!
I love these dies as there are so many possibilities for layering and creating different looks. The leaves are 2 separate dies – one which I cut the Basic Gray base and the other, Whisper White. These were then layered to create this look. The swirly circle has been cut in half, reattached and the joins camouflaged with those leaves. I found it was too large for my design and so I adapted.
The vellum leaves and black decorative border are from the Peaceful Poppies Elements.
I hope you have been inspired with my poppy projects. The products I have used are listed at the end of this post. With one month left to get free products, it’s the ideal chance for you to splurge on your favourites. Let me know in the comments what your favourites are and your thoughts on these cards. Jan 26, 2020 | Birthday, Blog Hops, Other, Special Occasions |
Hi Friends,
Today I’m hopping with fellow demonstrators from around the world in the Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop and we are showcasing all things Sale-A-Bration.
So what is ‘Sale-A-Bration? It’s the biggest Stampin’ Up! promotion of the year. In Australia, for every $90 you spend you receive a free product from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. So these are the products you will see highlighted in all our blogs today.
I have chosen the Happy Birthday to You stamp set and the Golden Honey Specialty DSP for my projects
I coordinated these products with the Peaceful Poppies Elements to add a lovely chic black touch to them. These projects involved a bit of fussy cutting but come 4th of February you don’t need to worry as coordinating dies are available. So no more fussy cutting for this cake image.
The large cake creates a lovely focal point for cards and with the choice of sentiments, it’s suitable for any occasion.
I had a bit of leftover Peaceful Poppies Elements border which I couldn’t bear to throw away so I added it to my gift tag which coordinates with the cards.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you visit again. All products I have used on the projects are listed below. Please stop by all the blog hop participants for more inspiration with your Sale-A-Bration catalogue. Click on the Next button to see what Laura has created for you.

Dec 2, 2019 | Blog Hops, Christmas |
Hi,
Welcome to my blog today. I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to see what I have created. If it’s your first time here, I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. I love what I do and am so blessed to be able to share my creativity with so many lovely people and today I get to share some Christmas themed fun with YOU!
I’m hopping with other talented crafters from around the world and we are focused on Christmas – with 23 days to go until the big day we hope to inspire you with projects that will help you get ready for it.
When I’m stuck for time, I look for quick and easy cards that I can reproduce. It seems that no matter how early I start, each year, I’m still madly making cards in December. I made a whole batch of these and they are so easy and quick to complete.
Start of by embossing the front of your Night of Navy card base. Mount the Stitched Rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I die cut the deer from the Detailed Deer dies from the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper. I used different sheets and was able to get 5 deer out of 1 sheet of 6″x6″ paper. These dies coordinate with the Dashing Deer stamp set.
The sentiments were all stamped in Shaded Spruce (to make life easy). I created several small banners and embossed them in one run through the die cutting machine. Note: When pushed for time and creating multiples, use embossing folders that don’t have horizontal or vertical patterns so if you put your paper in crooked it’s not going to matter. I did tell you I was in a rush!
I hope you have been inspired by my card and despite the busyness of the season you get to create a handmade card to share with someone. If you give this card a try or have any comments, I would love to hear from you so please leave me a message below.
All products I have used are listed at the end of this post. Next on our hop is the lovely Tricia Butts. Click on the Next button to see what she has created for you.
