Thank you Card using Painted Poppies Suite #keepstamping
Making thank you cards is a wonderful way of sharing our gratitude to those around us. As cardmakers, we have such a wonderful means of showering love on someone. It means even more at this time when people are shut in and can’t get out of their homes and there are people who are serving, day in and day out. They go above the call of duty to make our lives easier and look after us.
Stampin’ Up! issued a colour challenge last week that anyone could take part in. There’s going to be a new challenge each week to encourage us to keep stamping, keep creating and keep ourselves out of mischief!! So for this challenge we could use any or all of these colours on our project.
I’ve made a card using poppies in Pool Party with a outline in Pretty Peacock. The leaves are a combination of Crumb Cake and Early Espresso cardstock.
I die cut the sentiment from Woven Heirlooms DSP and stamped over it with Crumb Cake ink using the filler image for the poppy. This gave it an aged look.
Keep an eye out for further challenges which I will post on my Facebook page. If you don’t follow me on Facebook, why not take a look at what I share there and give me a like. I share some fun competitions there too.
