I have let the Designer Series Paper do the hard work for this theme in our #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. The Lights Aglow Specialty Paper already had the shine so I just added a few extras to create this card with Sparkle and Shine.
The Distressed Gold Specialty Paper is a very cost effective way to add some glitz to your card. It’s also lightweight so it doesn’t make your card too bulky for postage. A sentiment from the Hope & Peace stamp set embossed in Gold adds a little more shine.
Tomorrow starts the Great International Craft Show by Craft Alive. The Live Classes are free so join in and get lots of inspiration. I will be having special presentations and specials through the 4 days so make sure you’re following my Facebook Page Stamping Flair and check your notification settings.
I will be running 2 classes

GICS Series 15 runs Thu 24 to Sun 27 November 2022.
For today’s card I had to become extra creative as I didn’t have many stamps or dies with stars in them. I love this #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge which is making me put on my thinking cap!
First thing I did was have a squiz through my Designer Series Paper. This gave me a few options and a base to work with. This set of Black paper in the Lights Aglow DSP is chic and has a lovely elegant look to it.
A beautiful Distressed Gold Paper border adds definition between the two different patterns of DSP. Gold ribbon and a mix of embellishments bring this card together without taking away from the starry look of it.
Would you like to make this card? If you live in Australia, please get in touch with me and I can help you with a selection of products. A full product list is at the bottom of this post.
