Thank you for joining me today in quite a gloomy day in Melbourne. They say it’s going to get sunnier this week so summer is on the way. Nothing like some crafting to keep the mood cheery. I’ve got some sweet florals to share with you for my scrapbook page for the Ink & Share Scrapbook Monochromatic Blog Hop.
I chose the Hand Penned Memories & More Card Pack to create my page in shades of green. When Stampin’ Up! provide us the products, why not use it? It sure makes it much easier. To give you an idea how much easier it is let me explain that I am not a scrapbooker but I love taking part in challenges that get me to stretch myself and learn new things. So here I am scrapbooking! Stampin’ Up! products make it easy to create and try things which you normally don’t do.
I added the Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper – Beautifully Penned which coordinates with the Hand Penned Petals bundle. You can earn this paper free with a $90 order and there are several other options as well.
On a Soft Sea Foam page, I mounted all my elements. A 20cm square of Beautifully Penned DSP was layered on a 20.6cm square of Soft Sea Foam cardstock which a coloured in Just Jade around the edges with a Blending Brush. I use this technique quite often to give muted colours. In this case I was able to match the colouring on the Memories & More Cards.
The flowers in the Memories & More cards looked like Pool Party so to keep in the monochromatic theme, I touched them up with a Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend.
Some of the cards were cut apart and mounted on Soft Sea Foam cardstock (coloured as mentioned before) so I could create a different layout for my page.
For a focal element, I stamped a set of flowers from the Hand Penned stamp set and coloured with a mix of Mint Macaron, Just Jade and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
The gems were also coloured with Light Just Jade and Light Old Olive to coordinate with the rest of the page.
All products that I have used to create this scrapbook page are listed at the bottom of this post.

Welcome to our Stampers Showcase Blog Hop for August. So glad that you could join me here in Melbourne, Australia today. With the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue in hand, we are ready to inspire you with some beautiful projects using the products in there.
I’ve been having fun creating with the Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Pack. I created a few cards the other day focusing more on the Cherry Cobbler in this pack. You can view those here. Today, I’ve gone for a more neutral colour scheme with the lovely shades of green and gray tones.
The background DSP could have worked with a number of colours but I really loved how it stood out on the Basic Gray cardstock. I embossed the smaller Memories & More card with the Old World Paper embossing folder which added some beautiful texture to this piece. The wording from the Christmas Carol, Twelve Days of Christmas, is such a lovely detail on this card.
The bold sentiment has been fussy cut from another card in this pack. I love all the detail that can be achieved by cutting these cards and using them in various ways. I’ve added a panel of Plush Poinsetta Specialty DSP which adds the soft touch of vellum with texture.
On this next card, again I chose texture with the beautiful Parisian Flourish Embossing folder. The leaves and bauble stickers have been mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The laser cut gold leaves mimic the leaves from the sticker sheet which are included in the Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Pack. A gold cord ribbon completes this arrangement.
You get several sentiments to choose from and the gold sentiment is a simple and pretty addition to this card.
I hope you have been inspired to create some projects using the Wonder of the Season Memories & More Cards. The products I have used on these cards are listed at the bottom of this post.

I’m back for another blog hop this weekend and what fun I’m having getting to try out different products in the catalogue. The Kre8tors Blog Hop this month is all about masculine themed projects.
I think our new catalogue has an extensive range of products to create with that would suit men’s cards, scrapbook pages, gift wrapping or gift items. One of these is the elegant World of good suite with it’s brass foil accents. The Designer Series Paper is just beautiful.
On my card I have combined the DSP with some cards from the coordinating World of Good Memories & More Card Pack. This pack comes with 50 double sided cards, 6 specialty cards with brass foil, 4 sticker sheets and at $19.25 it is great value.
The only stamping I did on this card was the sentiment, letting the beautiful design of the paper shine. As a finishing touch, I added the Faux Suede trim and the Antiqued Corners which are part of the suite.
Memories & More card packs make really quick and effective cards and are a great addition to your craft stash.
You are currently visiting Rochelle Laird-Smith in Australia. All products that I’ve used on this card are listed at the end of this post. I hope you will give our Memories & More card packs a try – for memory keeping and cardmaking. Thank you for stopping by. Please leave me a comment as I love to hear your thoughts about what you see here or ask me any questions..

I love challenges because they make me think of different ways to use our beautiful products. One of the Facebook Groups I belong to – Fully Visible, issued a fun challenge to keep us crafting during Covid-19. Those who wished to participate were to create a One Sheet Wonder set of cards.
What is a osw (One Sheet Wonder)?
It’s a layout using either a 12″x12″ or 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper in it’s entirety to create a set of projects – so maximum bang for your buck
I have previously followed templates from Pinterest but I set about adding another challenge on top to create my own One Sheet Wonder. I thoroughly enjoyed myself …so much that I just might have to do another one!
I have made 13 cards using this template. There are way too many photos to include in this blog post. I’ve created a printable sheet with all the cards so you can have the OSW template and card designs all in one handy file. I’ll be sharing this in my newsletter later on this week so if you haven’t already subscribed to my newsletter, you will want to do so you can download the printable. Each week, my newsletter subscribers also get some additional bonuses, projects and giveaways so we have some fun there.
2020-2021 Annual Catalogues will be mailed out later this month. If you would like a copy of one, please click on the button below. You are going to love it.
The card I’ve got for you today is from a batch I created this past weekend when I was creating like I was going to run out of DSP (like that’s going to happen!).I am so excited for my Annual Catalogue Launch and Craft Party which is happening this Saturday. I hope you are too and have booked your place for this fun event. Preparation is in full swing and I have been creating lots of samples for you to look at. Last Sunday I did a 14 hour crafting shift in my pjs. Awesome! It was longer than working hours but I didn’t feel it. Crafting makes me happy and relaxes me (but I’ve still got a 100 things to do for Saturday!). If you haven’t let me know you”re coming, please drop me a message. We are going to have a fun afternoon together.
The instant I saw the front cover of the Annual Catalogue, all those blue cards got my attention. The lighthouses, sailing boats, ocean themed cards immediately drew me and I knew the Come Sail Away suite was going to be a favourite of mine. This is a card I’ve created using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack. This pack comes with varying sized cards, laser cut images such as the one I’ve used on this card and also stickers.
I love the texture of the laser cut cards. One side is white, while the other side has a white-washed look and that’s what I chose to show on this card. I backed it with a piece of Night of Navy cardstock which really made this image pop. The sentiment is die cut with the stitched tag which is from the matching framelits. I stamped the rope in balmy Blue over the sentiment.
All the elements have been layered on a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock which has been embossed with the lovely High Seas 3D embossing folder. This is a new style embossing folder and will need to be sandwiched through your die cutting machine differently.
Watch this video for some tips on using the new style 3D embossing folders and dies.
If, like me, you love ALL the products in this suite, the new catalogue makes it easy with a one-product-number ordering system. This item number and other products used are all listed below. Try out the Memories & More card packs and see how easy it is to make a batch of cards.
