Have you been playing along with my colour palettes each week? I LOVE these autumn colours of Colour Palette #7 and created a card using the beautiful Nature’s Harvest stamp set and Harvest dies which are retiring. These dies have some beautiful pieces to embellish your projects and I love the wheat and branches which provide texture and interest.
Cherry Cobbler isn’t a colour I tend to use a lot of except at Christmas. For this card I blended some Cherry Cobbler as a background for the flowers which were coloured in Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler Watercolour Pencils.
The branch was die cut from Basic White Cardstock. Using a Blending Brush I added Crushed Curry and Early Espresso ink onto it. The blotchy stamp (this stamp set is worth it just for that blotchy stamp!) was stamped in Sahara Sand. This coordinated with the DSP in the background. Sahara Sand wasn’t in the actual colour palette but generally in colour challenges, any neutrals, Black, White, Very Vanilla and metallics can be added so I went with it. With Sahara Sand retiring it was nice to say a farewell to it in this card.
I addded a piece of White cardstock embossed with the Hive embossing folder and blended with Old Olive inbetween the layers. The Hive 3D embossing folder is on sale for $9.45 in our Last Chance Sale. The smaller pattern on this folder adds some lovely texture to cards.
Several products used in this card are on the Last Chance List and are available while supplies last. This includes those Stitched Rectangles which are a staple in my crafting.

I have been immersed in the Harvest Meadow suite this week and can’t stop creating with it. It is so beautiful.
Inspired by this suite and also by the challenge at Sunday Stamps SSC265, I have picked the colours of Autumn for my card today. My chosen colour palette is Bumblebee, Pumpkin Pie, Cinnamon Cider, Soft Succulent and Very Vanilla.
I watercoloured the flowers with a combination of colours using Water Painters. The sprigs were die cut from Very Vanilla Cardstock and sponged with Cinnamon Cider and Pumpkin Pie inks.
On the card base, I added a panel of cardstock which was embossed with the Timeworn Embossing Folder. This folder gives such a beautiful texture and if you love that vintage look, you need this. (just saying!!)
I followed a video by our Artisan Design Team member, Tammy Wilson, to create the bow. I’ve still got some practicing to do but oh, it it is lots of fun to make. Click here to view the bow making video.
I am creating this card on my Facebook Live tonight so for full instructions and tips please make sure you check that out.
