Sharing the Fun of On Stage November 2018
Last Saturday, I was able to attend the Bi-Annual Stampin’ Up! convention which was held at Hi-Sense arena convention centre, The day started at 4:15 am (yes, us crafters are a keen bunch) as the doors opened at 7:30 am. My wonderful upline Bec was so kind to drive me, Marla and Delani off to a fun filled day. We had registered for this event back in August so we were pretty excited.
On Stage is a chance for demonstrators to get together, make new friends, recognize each other’s achievements, get the first look at the new catalogue, see and create projects with new products.
This was the first event where the spoiler alert policy had been lifted so we had seen some sneak previews from demonstrators who were attending On StageLive in Orlando and we couldn’t wait to see what was on offer. We in turn could share with others what we had seen except the inside pages of the catalogue. So it was pretty exciting that I could share what went on at On Stage with you as soon as it happened which I did via my Facebook page.
One of the fun things demonstrators do during On Stage are ‘Swaps ‘. If you choose to participate, you make a card or 3D item and swap items with others who have done the same. You could come back with a swag of great items and ideas. Due to time constraints I didn’t participate this year in Swaps. However, while we were waiting in the queue waiting to get in, lovely Amanda Walker from Ulverstone, Tasmania gave each of us a card she had made even though none of had anything to swap with her. She was truly representing the values of Stampin’ Up and sharing what she loved.

Once we checked in, we received our name tags, achievement stickers and those of us who had ordered special 30th anniversary logo wear got to collect them. Then we settled ourselves at a table which was decorated with a ‘30’ in the centre, sprinkles, photos, a box with things for our make and takes and a stack of pretty blue boxes- 1 for each person at the table.
We were all keen to see what was in those boxes but we waited until given the go ahead, which didn’t take long. We got a Stampin’ Up! tote, stamp set, logo pens and note books. 
The much anticipated Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogue were passed out and left us all drooling over the goodies inside. Prepare yourself as Stampin’ Up! have done it again! Great suites and products to help every type of crafter.

Then there was prize patrol where we all got various stamp sets, a tool case, another tote – we were spoiled. The tool case is on the extreme right of the photo and will easily hold a stamp case.
Through the day we had make and takes using the new products so here are my samples to give you a bit of a taste. There is something for everyone.
