A traditional card for today’s sketch for the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. The beautiful Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper really works for traditional cards and I love the colours in it.
I coordinated with the DSP by adding a focal feature of stamped and die cut pinecones aginst a Cherry Cobbler label.
Then I added some liquid glue and applied the Gilded Leafing over it. This added a lovely Christmas shine to this card.
A sentiment heat embossed in White, then cut up into smaller sections creates a more playful look.
Get this DSP for just $8.40 during our Last Chance sale. Regular price was $21. Being 12″ x 12″ sheets, they also make for great scrapbook pages.

Welcome to the September Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge this month. We were required to use a minimum of 3 colours and we could also include Black, White and metallics. I managed to incorporate all 5 colours as they coordinated so well together.
I created a slimline card inspired by the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches FMS504.
I created a light wash with Petal Pink on the Basic White panel. Then I added some splatters with a Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Writer Marker. To apply the Gilded Leafing, I stamped the dots from the Textures & Frames stamp set in Versamark, applied Heat n’ Stick Powder and then added the Leafing for a bit of sparkle. I felt the Rich Razzleberry splatter wasn’t enough so using the brush tip of the marker I added some extra dots around the Gilded Leafing.
I used the Stamparatus to get the variegated shading on the trees adding colour with a sponge dauber.
The sentiment label has been stamped in Soft Sea Foam third generation stamping using one of the stamps from the free Textures & Frames stamp set. Get this set free during Sale-A-Bration until 30th September with a $90 order. I added a striip of Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper with a border of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock to complete this colour challenge.

Hello, I hope you have had a lovely Saturday. Being in lockdown has given me more time to enjoy some crafting. I shared this easy fun fold on my Facebook Live today.
This card folds flat to fit in a regular envelope. It’s fun to decorate and uses up your Designer Series Paper (hands up if you have lots of that laying around!). I did make a mistake on this card and had to rectify it. If you look closely you will see it. Hey, it’s handmade! If you don’t see it, then check out the video.
Here’s another card I did with the same suite.
