It’s Something White for Day 11 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. This means the predeminant colour of the card has to be white. I love having white space in a card and really enjoyed creating this using a very simple design.
I’ve added a little bit of Balmy Blue and Gray Granite to this card. I embossed 3 strips of Basic White Cardstock with the Hive Embossing Folder which formed my backdrop for the rest of my elements. The Vellum circle was layered on a scalloped circle which I blended on the edges with Balmy Blue ink.
I added the cute bunny from the Peaceful Deer stamp set. The die cut leaves have been embellished with Wink of Stella (a little bit hard to see on the photo). I love the CAS look of this card with the clean white look.

We’ve got a lovely festive colour palette for today’s #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. As soon as I saw Crumb Cake, my mind went to the Peaceful Deer stamp set.
To create my card I embossed a panel of Evening Evergreen Cardstock and then blended Evening Evergreen ink at the bottom of the panel to add more depth. This was layered on a card base in the same colour.
I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to create my sketch. The White circle has Evening Evergreen and Crumb Cake blended to tone in with the rest of the card.
Some gold foil trees from the Majestic Mountain Dies add a bit of Christmas glimmer to this rustic card.

Welcome to our New at SU Blog and today we are sharing a variety of projects suitable for all levels of crafters. Each project will start with a Simple Stamping version, then it will be stepped up for the Avid crafter and the Artfully Avid crafter.
Pick what is best suited to your crafting needs and have fun creating. A Simple Stamping project is ideal if you are a beginner crafter or even if you are an experience crafter who is short on time or you just want something to create that is back to basics.
I’ve chosen the Peaceful Deer stamp set and it’s coordinating punch to create my Simple Stamping card. Punches are great for beginners and can give extra dimension to a project so simply. The deer was stamped in Gray Granite on Smoky Slate Cardstock as I wanted a lighter shade to the Gray Granite card base. A few stamped trees, some paper, a few sequins and this card is complete.
To step-up the next card for the Avid crafter, I’ve embossed the Pool Party panel with the Wintry Embossing Folder and added some ink blending in Pool Party and Tahitian Tide on the bottom of the White panel.
A die cut label adds more definition around the sentiment and some coordinating Gray Granite ribbon adds a sweet finishing touch.
A vellum banner was added providing a softness to this Artfully Avid card. I stamped the deer on Basic White Cardstock and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends.
To create the leaves I blended some Flirty Flamingo ink over White Cardstock. Then I die cut several sets of leaves. Along with the silver leaves and Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, these provide grounding for the deer.
I hope you have enjoyed the variations of this card and I would love to hear which one you would like to try out. Thank you for stopping by my blog and please make sure you follow the hop right through for lots of ideas on how you can step-up your projects.

I’m bringing out one of our favourites from last year, the Peaceful Deer stamp set, for today’s Sketchtember Challenge. I’ve had so much fun creating this Christmas card for Day 10 of my birthday celebrations.
I find that banners are really versatile. You could take the banner off this card and use it as a tag for a gift.
This banner was created with the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper which is a Host paper. This is not available for sale but if your order reaches a total of $250, it is available to select as part of your Stampin’ Rewards.
I’ve had fun using a non-traditional colour palette for this card and coloured elements of the DSP with Mint Macaron and Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends to coordinate with the base DSP.
The deer was coloured with Early Espresso and Cajun Craze Watercolour Pencils (without water) and set on a snowflake from the Wonderful Snowflakes embellishments. I’ve used the irridescent side but if you use the other matte side, you can colour it to coordinate with your projects.
The Soft Succulent Ribbon blended well with the trees in the background and the satin gives it such a luxurious look. Until 14th September, you can get this on special with our Weekly Deals.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate the comments I’m receiving about all the sketches and I’m so glad you are being inspired. Remember to create and send out your cards to bless someone else.
