I know many of you love to scrapbook and have a lot of experiencing doing this. I struggle to get photos in an album let alone scrapbook with them! In the past I have dabbled with a few scrapbook layouts to create newborn baby gifts.
The project I undertook a couple of weeks ago was much more involved and I put a lot of my heart into it because it was around my daughter. This photo was taken at her cousin’s wedding in Tasmania earlier this year and I just love her simple, natural look here.

I used several products on this layout including the Blended Seasons bundle and products from the Tea Room Suite. The Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper worked in so well with the colours of Cassidy’s dress. I tore the edge and dabbed it with Soft Suede ink to give it a distressed look.
Behind the photo I’ve added added a die cut from the Stitched All Around dies. Several flowers were stamped and coloured in Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. These are quite quick to fussy cut. I then die cut leaves from the Blended Seasons dies, cut them apart and arranged around the flowers.

The Olive green panels are from the Tea Room Memories and More Card Pack and I’ve also added some Wood Twxture DSP which has been matted onto Soft Suede cardstock.
I really love the sentiment as it expressed exactly what Cassidy is – a blessing in my life. It’s from the Very Vintage Hostess set and has been embellished with a Copper Vinyl sticker which is also from the Tea Room Suite.

The Blended Seasons bundle is only available until 31st August. It’s a set that covers all seasons and you will get a lot of use out of it. I know I have been creating a lot with it. If you love it now is the time to get it before this promotion runs out plus every $90 spent in August earns you a $9 Bonus Days coupon. This can be spent in September so you get extra value with your purchase. Please contact me with any questions or feedback.

The beautiful Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper makes it very easy to create quick cards. The sentiment I used for this card is from the Beautiful Promenade stamp set and makes this a suitable ‘thinking of you’ card. There are some other lovely sentiments and images in this set with the dies to match.

To create it, layer a piece of Designer Series Paper onto Smoky Slate cardstock. The Gray marble paper, which the sentiment is stamped on, is the reverse side of the floral paper. Layer this piece onto Smoky Slate cardstock as well.
Wrap the tulle ribbon right around the card and tie in a bow. The flower is stamped in Blushing Bride on Blushing Bride cardstock and the die makes it easy to cut the image.
Put it all together and your card is all set. Make a batch of these with different sentiments for different occasions.
Purchase the Beautiful Promenade bundle and an ink pad to total a minimum $90 and receive a $9 Bonus days voucher which can be used in September. There is no limit on the number of vouchers you can earn.

Jul 30, 2018 | Cards - Birthday, Cards - Thank You |
To kick off the working week, I’ve got 2 more cards with the Pretty Petal Promenade Paper – the 4Ps. As I said the other day, I love this paper. It can be dressed up for a wedding or used to make a sympathy card as the floral images are versatile and work well with the background images on the reverse side,
This card has been embossed with the Tufted embossing folder. The photo doesn’t capture the entire beauty of the folder but the depth of the embossing is like a quilt. This folder caught my eye as soon as I got my Annual catalogue and went on my first order.
On top of this is a layer of Lovely Lipstick DSP from the 2018-2020 In-Colour Collection. I love the range of Designer Series Paper in the different colour families. It makes it so easy to create a colour coordinated card with ease. This is something Stampin’ Up has perfected with coordinating cardstock, paper ribbons and embellishments – everything to make it so much easier and fun.
The leaf frame is from the Designer Series Paper which I fussy cut outside and inside the frame as well. I stamped the Very Vanilla panel inside the frame with the Artisan Textures stamp in Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo which has been stamped off a couple of times.
3 flowers from the Blossoms Elements embellishments offset the printed flowers. These flowers are such a cute addition to our embellishment range. They come in a mixed pack of 18 flowers in Calypso Coral, Petal Pink and So Saffron and are $14 a pack. That’s .77 cents per flower which is inexpensive and they add that special touch on a card.
The sentiment is stamped on Tea Party DSP and die cut with the Stitched Labels die.

How gorgeous is the paper on this next card? I have created a very simple thank you card but could you imagine this as a background for a wedding card? The Mossy Meadow Card base with the Very Vanilla matte really makes this card pop.
I punched a vellum circle and then layered different elements on top of it. First was a banner in Grapefruit Grove, then that beautiful Whisper White tulle ribbon and gold sequin trim. The sentiment is from the Stitched All Around stamp set. Super simple with no image really necessary because I wanted to show the DSP.
