It’s time for our November Joy of Sets Blog Hop. We are sharing some Thank You cards with you this month. I think it’s very important to express our gratitude to those around us. There are so many people we come across in our daily lives that lift us up. It could be a family member, work colleague, neighbour, sales assistant, doctor, nurse and the list goes on.
Today I’ve got a stack of cards which take on the same layout and use the same stamp sets.
The Hippo Happiness Bundle has many cute little characters which are cut out with the coordinating dies. I really like the many label options that are part of this die set as well, which I’ve used on my stack of cards.
These cute animals and characters are stamped with the two-step stamping method. It’s actually three-step stamping as you need to add the details on their faces. I love how this just gives them personality. For some of the images I used the same ink colour stamped off to achieve a lighter colour. For other images I used 2 colours. Two-step stamping provides a quick method of colouring images.
The fun Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper was just perfect for these sweet characters. I chose the Rainbow Glimmer paper for my labels as the colours tied in well with the DSP.

Have you noticed the fun Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalogue? I think it’s such a bright and cheerful pack that I wanted to give it it’s very own workshop. On Saturday I held an Online Workshop showing 4 different projects with an alternative, giving you 8 different looks.
This first card features the Touched my Heart Host stamp set. A simple yet beautiful stamp set with lovely line images creates quick cards.
A panel placed at an angle adds interest to this simple card. Add some leaves with the Touched my Heart stamp set and a flower punched out of the beautiful Velveteen Paper to make this quick card.
A butterfly punched from beautiful Glimmer DSP adds a quick embellishment to this card.
The Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes are ideal to pack some chocolates or tealights. I’ve added some colour with a brayer and decorated it with a cute lamb from the Hippo Happiness bundle. The Rainbow Glimmer Paper adds a beautiful label for this lamb to perch on.

Playful Pets and Playing with Patterns – now that’s going to be a fun combination! I had so much fun creating this card. The Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper has fun patterns and colours and just gives a cheerful feel. So it was a great backdrop for this cute doggy.
I stamped a strip of the ombré DSP in Coastal Cabana with the floral triangle from The Right Triangle stamp set. Moving the triangle around you can completely cover a piece of DSP or cardstock. I was inspired by this sketch at the Inspire. Create, Challenge blog.
To create the thin stripe on the left, I used the die with the row of triangles. I think this bundle will be one I will be using time and time again as I love the geometric patterns and also the ability to use it in a more softer way.
The dog was coloured in Stampin’ Blends and I added a little bow with some linen thread from the Gorgeous Posies Kit.
