Welcome to this week’s Monochromatic challenge with the Crafty Collaborations team. We are highlighting the rich and regal, Cherry Cobbler. I was leaning towards a Christmas card as this is a gorgeous festive colour, however I chose the Simply Zinnia bundle instead.
I stamped the Zinnia image twice, once in Tuxedo Black and once in Cherry Cobbler. The flowers were coloured in Cherry Cobbler and Real Red Watercolour Pencils and the leaves were shaded in with the Basic Gray Watercolour Pencil.
I fussy cut the around the flowers and mounted them on top of the complete image.
On this card I’ve also added some of the products from our Regal Winter suite from the September – December Mini Catalogue. The beautiful Designer Series Paper and the Specialty Paper in Cherry Cobbler were just perfect for this week’s challenge.
The Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments are so sparkly and I love how they add a touch of elegance to this card.

Welcome to a new week and today I’ve got a card to share with you using the beautiful Simply Zinnia bundle. This bundle is part of a suite of products which includes a Stamp Set, dies, Designer Series Paper, Embossing Folder and Embellishments. The DSP which is part of this suite is bright and I wanted to give this bundle a soft look by using some subtle colours using Colour Palette #53.
To begin with, I stamped the floral image in Basic Gray instead of Tuxedo Black as it provided a softer outline. The flowers were then coloured in with Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. For the leaves I used Lost Lagoon and added some Petal Pink inbetween. Leaves don’t always have to be the regular green and I just loved how these turned out.
I added the image to 2 labels die cut from the Unbounded Love Dies. I layered this onto a die cut from the Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper which was cut down to the size I needed. This paper had just the right colours to fit in with this project.
I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray as well and layered it onto Flirty Flamingo Cardstock. This coordinated well with those beautiful Flirty Flamingo Dots for Days embellishments.
Don’t miss out on getting the Simply Zinnia bundle at the discounted price of $81.50 during our Stamp & Die bundle sale which is on until 30th June. You can also save 10% on all our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machines.
Have a great week ahead.

Hello Friends, Welcome to Stamping Flair. I hope you have had an enjoyable Mother’s Day. It’s our weekly CASEing the Catty Challenge blog hop and for CTC469 we are CASEing the Mix & Match pages from the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue.
CASE – Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit.
The Mix & Match section includes Ephemera Packs and Cards & Envelope Packs. These are designed to provide you with simplified options for customising your projects.
I’ve CASEd the this project from Page 21 of the catalogue. The arrangement of the sentiment is in a triangular shape and my design took it’s inspiration from that.
I started off by die cutting a triangle using the 2 largesr Deckled Rectangles. This was embossed with the Fun Patterns Embossing Folder.
This is the first card I’ve created with the Zinnias bundle and the images are lovely to colour in. I used Stampin’ Blends for this image.
I added some elements from the Spotlight In Nature bundle including the circle and butterfly. I inked up the texture image in Petunia Pop and then spritzed it with water before to stamping. I love the watercolour effect that this gives. The butterfly was blended with Pretty in Pink ink, with some details added with the Daffodil Delight Watercolour Pencil.
The card base is a tent fold as a felt the design lent itself to that and on the bottom of it I blended Petunia Pop ink. This added some depth under my focal image. I couldn’t resist adding the butterfly from this stamp set for a sweet touch.
Thank you for stopping by today. A full list of products used can be found at the end of this post. Next on our hop is Rebecca Scurr. Follow our hop through for lots of fun ideas.
