The Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper from our Sale-A-Bration catalogue is such a beautiful pack of paper to work with. Filled with images of birds and florals you get a beautiful selection of designs to choose from.
For the base of my card I have picked a pretty tone-on-tone Lost Lagoon sheet from this pack of DSP.
I fussy cut the bird’s nest from the Everyday Details stamp set and coloured it with Stampin’ Blends. This is such a pretty image and with those birds creates a beautiful focal point.
Purchasing the Everyday Details bundle during Sale-A-Bration will qualify you for a free Sale-A-Bration product.
For the top of the banner I added a die cut from the Everyday Details dies. This particular border die cuts into the cardstock but doesn’t cut around it. I used a trimmed to cut on either side of it before attaching it to the banner.
To balance the large bird’s nest, I added a layered flower from the Translucent Florals dies which I coloured with Stampin’ Blends. Some leaves cut apart from the Gorgeously Made dies added create a pretty arrangement to coordinate with the Fresh Freesia sentiment.

A brand new working week with lots more Sketchtember challenge fun. For Day 5 I’m using the limited release Apple Blossom Dies. These dies are part of the Stampin’ Up! Perfect Partners promotion which is on this month. There are 6 new dies which have been released which coordinate with stamp sets from the Annual and Mini catalogues. These are only available while supplies last and this promotion ends on the 30th of September.
I had a lot of fun colouring this image with a mix of Watercolour Pencils. I used Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze. Then I die cut the image. The Apple Blossom Dies include several extra dies to enhance your projects with. That scalloped border is very useful too.
I added the apple image onto the Design a Daydream DSP. This is an exclusive Host reward which you can choose when you host a workshop or place a personal order of $250.
Shop with me during September and for every $50 you spend or every class you order, you will get an entry in my Birthday Drawing to win a hamper valued at $200. Orders can be placed online or by contacting me on Ph: 0404 255 001 or email: rochelle@stampingflair.com
Hi, What an exciting weekend this has been with the celebration of World Cardmaking Day yesterday. Did you get to enjoy some cardmaking? I’ve got heaps of cards ready to mail out. It’s important to send thise cards as they are so uplifting to those who receive them.
I made this card during one of my Facebook Lives I did yesterday. It uses the Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper. This pack has got 48 sheets of 12″x12″ paper and is valued at $31. It is available as a Host Reward when your order reaches $250 or if you host a party with total sales over $250.
Each of these sheets is coloured on one side and black and white on the other. There are florals and simple patterns which gives you many creative options.
When using mixed patterns, at times a project can look too busy. However, by using complementary patterns and colours this can enhance the look of your project. I really love the spotted Mint Macaron sheet in this pack. As it is a subtle colour, the black and white with a stronger check pattern created a look that was cohesive. The patterns in this pack work well for trying out some different combinations.
If you would like to host a party and earn free products, please contact me to book a date. Parties can be held online or as lockdown restrictions ease, in-person. Your Host Rewards can be used to get exclusive Host Only products or any of our catalogue products.
Happy Sunday! Melbourne has given us a beautiful sunny day with blue skies today. Pretty good for a winter’s day. My card today has been inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
This is a great sketch to use up all those bits and pieces of cardstock you may have lying around. I created an ombre background using Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. Each piece was cut to 9.3cm x 3.4cm. Then I matte this onto a Basic Gray panel of 9.9cm x 14.2cm.
The bouquet of flowers from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set adds a pop of colour against the greens.
All the products I’ve used for this card are listed below and can be ordered in my Online Store or by contacting me.
Hi, Today I’m taking part in the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop and our theme is classic – Black & White. So many wonderful ways to interpret this theme.
I created my design using lots of scrap Black and White cardstock.
The black strips of cardstock were cut to 1cm width and I layered 3 together to create depth against the white embossed panel in the back. Each of these strips were embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
The focal image has been created with the Pierced Blooms flowers which are some of my favourites as they are are so striking with the stitching.
Thank you for taking some time to visit me in Melbourne. Hope this gives you some ideas on using up all that scrap cardstock you may have.
Next on our hop is Mo Rootes. Hop through with me to see all the lovely inspiration that’s being shared.
