For Colour Palette #16 with Cherry Cobbler part of it I thought it was time for some Christmas in July cardmaking. Have you started on your Christmas cards already? Getting an early start is always good so you beat the rush.
I’ve used the Cottage Wreath stamp set and Country Wreaths dies to create a bit of a rustic look on this card.
I’m following the sketch at Freshly Make Sketches #593. I added some Basic Gray stripes using the Inked & Tiled stamp set to resemble the horizontal strip of the sketch. This has a wood texture which coordinated with the embossed background.
I added a panel of Petal Pink Cardstock blended with Petal Pink ink under the die cut Basic White panel, This gave it a bit of warmth and contrast against the embossed Petal Pink layer.
For a pop of colour, I coloured around the Early Espresso hearts with a Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend. Some Cherry Cobbler leaves die cut from the Christmas Pinecone dies were cut apart to fit inbetween. Then a few silver leaves, trim and pearls were added to balance out with the gray.

We’ve got a lovely festive colour palette for today’s #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. As soon as I saw Crumb Cake, my mind went to the Peaceful Deer stamp set.
To create my card I embossed a panel of Evening Evergreen Cardstock and then blended Evening Evergreen ink at the bottom of the panel to add more depth. This was layered on a card base in the same colour.
I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to create my sketch. The White circle has Evening Evergreen and Crumb Cake blended to tone in with the rest of the card.
Some gold foil trees from the Majestic Mountain Dies add a bit of Christmas glimmer to this rustic card.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope these projects inspire you in your creativity. The products needed to make this card are listed below. Click on any of the images to shop in my Online Store.

It’s country charm on Day 9 of my Sketchtember Challenge with the Stampin’ Up! Apple Blossoms bundle which I’ve paired with the checks from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. This Host exclusive product is on Page 87 of the Mini Catalogue. You can choose this when your order reaches $250 or if you host a party with orders totalling $250.
I coloured the apples in a range of Stampin’ Blends and love the vibrancy of those colours against the Pacific Point background.
The diagonal pattern from the Apple Harvest stamp set was stamped across the Basic White Card panel before embossing with the Timber Embossing Folder. Then I ran my Crumb Cake ink pad direct to the Cardstock which picked up the embossed detail.
Around the sentiment I used a ruler to go around it with a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker to give it a defining border.
I hope you have enjoyed this creation and are having fun seeing the various sketches. The Apple Blossom Dies are available while supplies last and only until 30th September. It’s a great coordinating product which you will get lots of use out of.
Have a wonderful weekend.
