Hi,
Happy new year! Welcome to Stamping Flair and the ESAD Mini Catalogue Blog Hop. I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from Blind Bight down the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.

I am so excited to be able to share with you some cards that I’ve made from the beautiful new Mini Catalogue that we have and the additional Sale-A-Bration catalogue.
I’ve chosen the Tropical Oasis suite to feature today – it’s my favourite. I think it’s the beautiful colours combined with a touch of vintage and floral – everything that I just love.

The suite consists of a stamps and dies, Embossing Folder, trinkets, Memories & More card pack,
Burlap Trim and Saddle Brown Stazon ink (Product Code #153941)
For my first card, I have fussy cut some elements from the Memories & More card pack. The edges of my card base and fussy cut images have been distressed with the Saddle Brown ink. I am loving this colour – it is unlike any of the browns in our Classic range.

I embossed the Whisper White cardstock with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. Doesn’t that pattern just make you feel like you’re in the tropics? Then I added Pear Pizzazz ink over it using a sponge dauber. I used the debossed side of the embossing folder which then picked up the raised lines of the pattern.

I think this card would make a great bon voyage or happy retirement card.

My next card features the beautiful stamp set and the feature flower in it. I stamped it on Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper in Saddle Brown Stazon ink. Stazon ink is required when watercolouring.

A combination of these watercolours were used for the flower and 3 leaves.
- Daffodil Delight
- Pumpkin Pie
- Melon Mambo
- Early Espresso
- Granny Apple Green
- Old Olive
- Garden Green

When you’ve got another stamp set that has the word ‘tropical’ in it, the combining of products from the Tropical Chic stamp set was something that just had to be done. I love how the leaves coordinate and there’s even a sheet of DSP that matches.

My sentiment was stamped on a label made with the Label Me Lovely punch. I extended this label and created a matte in Grapefruit Grove. You can create any size label you like. All you need is a strip of cardstock that is 5cm wide. Then insert into the punch from the top so only one end is getting punched. Do the same for the other side and you have a custom label.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope you have been inspired with the projects I have shared with you today. All products used are listed at the end of this post. Hi Friends,
Happy middle of the week! Wednesdays are great days aren’t they? Second half of the week means the weekend looms near. It’s extra nice because I get Wednesdays off from my regular job in a school so more time to craft.
Today I’m thrilled to be part of the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. I am a cardmaker most of the time and I jumped at the opportunity to participate in this blog hop as it just stretches my creativity and made me think big (scrapbook page size)!
I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from a small coastal town of Blind Bight in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The beach is a short 5 minute walk from our home and it’s a lovely quiet area away from the busy suburbs. So when I found out the theme for this month’s hop was ‘Summer’ my first thought was Coastal Cabana for the beach and that’s how my page unfolded.

The next product that I really wanted to incorporate was the striped So Saffron cardstock from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More card pack. The yellow signifying sunshine and bright days.

Summer evoked memories of my childhood in Sri Lanka with palm trees and bright flowers. The Tropical Chic stamp set had the perfect images for this.

The flowers have been stamped in Memento ink on Shimmery White cardstock. Then I sprinkled Pigment Sprinkles on a clear stamping block and used an aqua painter to colour them in. The effect is so pretty and the colours are intense. A little goes a long way. The sentiments are also from the Memories & More card pack and I’ve layered them to create depth and interest.

I’m so glad I have had this opportunity to participate today as it’s been a whole lot of fun. Make sure you stop by all the participating blogs and check out the fun ways everyone has interpreted Summer. Please click on the Next button to see what Cindy has created.

Thank you for stopping by my blog, Stamping Flair, today. Demonstrators from around the world are being highlighted internationally by Kylie Bertucci and the theme this month is Encouragement.

I chose hues of greens and blues for this card to make it bright and cheery and perfect for our theme.
Oh Darling, you are fabulous ….I love this sentiment and think it would really lift someone up.

The background was created by stamping the leaves in Soft Sea Foam and Granny Apple Green. I love the bright, summery feel of these shades of green. I then added the heat embossed, Gold leaves which really add to the cheering up sentiment of my card.
To create the double colour on the sentiment, I used the Stamparatus. First I stamped in Pretty Peacock. Then moving the cardstock a tiny bit to the right, I masked the sentiment with washi tape and inked the stamp with Granny Apple Green. Then I stamped the sentiment which creates the pretty double colour on the word ‘darling’.
I mounted the sentiment on another oval die cut from Pretty Peacock Cardstock and embossed with the Tufted Embossing Folder. This has then been adhered onto a Soft Sea Foam oval to create a pretty, focal mage.
The bow was formed by snipping a section of the linen ribbon apart. I created a mock bow using glue dots to secure in place.

With card making, we have the ability to brighten someone’s day by giving them a handmade card. Who could you encourage and share your beautiful cards with today? A birthday, congratulations, anniversary, thinking of you or just because… the recipient will love it.

The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop and I would love it if you would pop on over and vote for my project . You can VOTE for my project by clicking HERE. I appreciate you supporting me.

Sep 2, 2018 | Step-It-Up Sunday, Thank You |
Hi Stampers,
Thank you for stopping by to check my first Spring edition of Step-it-Up Sunday. Happy Father’s Day to all the father’s in our families. How are you celebrating? I’m cooking roast pork with the lot tonight and trying out a new lemon pie so I’ll see how that turns out.
What better way to start off spring than a card with flowers. I have used the Tropical Chic bundle for my project today The card base is 10cm x 20cm.
Basic.

Add a layer of Whisper White cardstock on top of the Thick Whisper White cardstock base. Stamp sentiment in Blackberry Bliss.
Die cut squares from Stiched Framelits and Layering Squares. Stamp images in Blackberry Bliss and Grapefruit Grove and attach together. Attach these on top of Whisper White panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Intermediate
To step this card up, stamp the base of the card in Smoky Slate. Then add a panel of Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper behind the 3 images.
Stamp the sentiment on a strip of Smoky Slate cardstock and insert each end into the Everyday Label punch to form the decorative edge,

Advanced
Die cut the Whisper White cardstock and emboss with the Layered Leaves Embossing folder, The images have been stamped, die cut and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To add extra depth to the flower and leaves I added an extra colour with sponge daubers. To get this look is very simple. Ink up the flower in Grapefruit Grove and then sponge around the edges in Poppy Parade. Ink up the leaves in Berry Burst and sponge around the edges in Blackberry Bliss. Stamp and die cut the images.

Then add some faceted dots to complete the card.

Hope you enjoy creating this card.
Remember, Holiday Catalogue is released on 5th September. I can’t wait to share it with you. Please let me know if you would like a copy. You are going to love it.
Have a lovely week.

Jul 1, 2018 | Projects, Step-It-Up Sunday |
Hi Stampers,
Thank you for stopping by Stamping Flair today. Trust you have had a great week. Have you been able to get any crafting done? I know how hard it is to find the time between working, housework, being a mum and all the other ‘stuff’ we have to do but isn’t it great when we just get a moment to relax and create? I find it so relaxing. I’m on 2 weeks holidays so I hope to get a bit more crafting done and get a few sleep ins too!
For today’s Step-it-Up Sunday, I wanted to create something different so I chose the Mini PIzza Box. They are pre cut, food safe boxes which just need to be folded and take less than a minute to assemble. These are so cute and there are so many ways in which you can decorate them whether it be by stamping, spritzing, covering with DSP – many options.
I was inspired by this colour combination.

Basic
Use the Artisan Textures stamp to cover the sides of the pizza box in Mango Melody. Apart from being a lovely texture stamp, this stamp also easily and quickly adds background colour. Then attach a 3 1/4” piece of Tropical Escape DSP to the top.

Add the strip of Berry Burst cardstock, sentiment and champagne foil leaf and you’ve got a very quickly created, handmade gift box.

Product List
Intermediate
Step-up to the next level by stamping the border with the stripe stamp. Stamp over the Designer Series Paper for added interest. To create the layered look for the sentiment, stamp it on the Tropical Escape DSP and punch out. Then punch another piece from Granny Apple Green cardstock and cut it in half. Layer this behind the sentiment and cut off any part that is overhanging.
Add these for Intermediate Card
Advanced
You can create an extra special gift box with the Advanced step-up. Add a strip of Basic Black cardstock to the Berry Burst panel. Stamp and heat emboss the flowers from the Falling Flowers stamp set. Watercolour them using an Aqua painter and a Berry Burst ink refill and once dry, die cut them. Add some die cut leaves from the Tropical Thinlits dies and arrange with the punched out leaves. I have cut some apart to make them fit in better.
These boxes make lovely treat holders and are so quick to put together you could have several ready to go for those last minute gifts.

Add these for Advanced Card
