Beautiful Gallery – Just a Note Textured Background Card
I’m just a little late posting this card which was the 4th in my June Card Creations Series featuring the Beautiful Gallery Suite. Where does the time go? This was so much fun to create with all the textured on it that it just had to be posted – even thought it’s late! Make sure you check out the video for the full process on creating this card.
My inspiration began with a sheet of wrapping paper I had purchased for my daughter’s birthday. The flowers and foliage reminded me of this suite. While my stamped background on the left panel was quite different to that wrapping paper, it set me on a path to creating a collage style background. The rest of the card just worked around that one panel.
Several die cut flower stems and leaves, blending and splattering created depth and added to the beautiful texture on this card which I just loved creating.
