Caseing the Catty Challenge CTC553 – January Online Exclusives

Hello and welcome to the Caseing the Catty Challenge CTC553 where our theme this week is to Case a project from the January release of Online Exclusive products.

While we enjoy three catalogue releases throughout the year, Stampin’ Up! also treats us to a variety of Online Exclusive releases sprinkled inbetween — and they add so much variety and creative inspiration to our crafting. I must admit, some of my favourite product releases this January have come from the Online Exclusives range.

For today’s project, I’ve brought together two of those favourites — one as my source of inspiration and the other featured in my card. The project I’m CASEing showcases the Unbridled Beauty stamp set, which was one of the first stamp sets that caught my eye.

Using the Lovely Arrangements Bundle, I opted for an alternate colour palette to the Lovely Blossoms Suite which it is part of.

I started with the brightly coloured flowers in Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends. Then I worked on choosing the colour of my label. I was to-ing and fro-ing between colours and finally settled on this check pattern in the Love Notes Designer Series Paper which just arrived in my order this past week.

A die cut Vellum panel with some lovely detail sits on top of a Azure Afternoon DSP panel to provide interest to the background. On the base I’ve added a layer of Whispers of Texture Designer Series Paper. Under the sentiment I added a Gold Foil border die cut using the large circle panel die in the Lovely Arrangements bundle.
