Oh what fun I’ve had creating this card using the cute Easter Bunny stamp set. I just got it in my latest Stampin’ Up! delivery and it’s the first time I’m playing with it.
I stamped the bunny in Sahara Sand and then coloured with Watercolor Pencils. For the body I used Crushed Curry with Early Espresso and Basic Gray adding some highlights and shadows. I added some Rich Razzleberry for a pink tint on her cheeks, ears and feet.
I stamped and coloured the left side of the body a second time. Fussy cutting and layering on top of the heart which had some Stampin’ Dimensionals under to pop it up, makes it look like the bunny is gifting a heart in keeping with our Love theme for the Global Design Project Challenge GDP379.
The soft floral Designer Series Paper added a lovely touch for this cute bunny card which uses the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches FMS571.
Although I’ve only used the stamp set for this card, this set also has a coordinating punch which you will want to order together to get the most out of this bundle and you also save 10% on the price. I’ve got a fun card using the This Birthday Piggy bundle for Day 16 of the Sketchtember Challenge. The dies in this bundle are part of the Stampin’ Up! Perfect Partners promotion and are only available while supplies last until 30th September. You will want to get these dies because they have some cute add ons to enhance your piggy images.
I was going for a fun look on this card and the Design a Daydream DSP provided the diffrent patterns to create the effect. This paper is a Host offering and you have the option to choose this with Stampin’ Rewards when your order is over $250 or your party sales reach $250.

I coloured the piggy image with Stampin’ Blends and added it to a Vellum die cut circle. Vellum provides a subtle contrast layer against the patterned DSP while not completely covering it.

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop to welcome in our New Mini Catalogue. I’m from Melbourne, Australia and I’m so glad that you have visited me today. I’ve done some mixing and matching for my creation today using products from our Mini and Annual Catalogue (which is just a couple of months in).
I’ve used the Splendid Day Designer Series Papers and Splendid Stems Dies with the fun bird from the Sweet Songbirds bundle.
I just love blending – aren’t out BlendingBrushes THE BEST? So …. I blended Pool Party and Granny Apple Green ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die cut it using the leaf dies. I used some inlays from the smaller leaf to embellish around the bird.
The nest was heat embossed in Copper and die cut with the semi-circle die. The elegance of the specialty Designer Series Paper makes this a cute baby card or a wedding card.

Today’s card uses the Sweet Songbirds stamp set and I’ve used it to create a baby card. The Sweet Songbirds bundle is suitable for so many occasions. With many sentiments including generic sentiments it can be adapted to any special event.
I have been inspired by the Tone-on-Tone challenge at TGIF Challenges for this card and I chose pink with touches of Rose Gold.
For the base piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock I used the Faux Suede technique which added lots of texture to this card.
Flowers die cut from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper provided the floral arrangement along with die cut Metallic Rose gold leaves.
The little strip of Rose gold paper below the sentiment is the Splendid Day Specialty Paper from our July-December Mini Catalogue which is released tomorrow. If you would like a copy of the catalogue please get in touch with me.

As soon as I saw the theme for Global Design Project #GDP331 which is Dots & Circles I immediately thought of creating a Bokeh background for my card.
Bokeh is a fun technique which mimics the look of the bokeh effect in photography. See below for instructions how to create this look. With my chosen colours, the Catching Butterflies stamp set just seemed to fit. You can get this stamp set free with a $90 order during Sale-A-Bration.
Some die cut circles were layered for this cute image. I added some Wink of Stella for the girl’s dress to give it some shimmer and used our brand new Skin Tone Stampin’ Blends to colour her skin and hair. Some Brushed Brass Butterflies were added to complete this cute card.
BOKEH TECHNIQUE
Using a blending brush, add your chosen colours onto Basic White Cardstock
Take a piece of Window Sheet (acetate) which is large enough to cover the card front to create a template. Die cut lots of circles in varying sizes from this piece. (I used a few retired punches as well to create the smaller circles)
With a Blending Brush, add Craft ink through the circles. Move the template around so that the circles overlap, with more smaller ones added on top. Use a heat tool to dry, if necessary, between layers.
This creates the fun look and you can wash and use your template again for another project.
