Welcome to the Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop for September. We’ve got a Colour Combination challenge from which we had to use at least 3 of the following 5 colours.
As soon as I saw this colour combination, I knew it would make a perfect ‘under the sea’ image. I used the beautiful Seabed Embossing Folder to create a beautiful background for my card.
I sponged Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape and Pretty Peacock over the embossing which created this pretty shaded background.
The waves were cut out from a sheet of DSP and and I added a turtle coloured with Stampin’ Blends on top to complete the card.
I give my team fortnightly Creative Challenges and I gave them a photo inspiration which I just had to share with you. This was picked prior to me sitting down to working on this blog hop. Can you see how similar these colours are to our blog hop colour challenge? I think I’ve just created my card for our team challenge!

Last 2 days of our 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue and 2020 Mini Catalogue and I just had to share with you some cards I created with the cute scalloped note cards. These cards come in Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Light Pink and Terracotta Tile.
I used the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper to create this set of cards. I just love that the variety of colours give me so much choice when it comes to coordinating DSP.
The sentiment uses the very cute Time for Tags stamp set which coordinates with the Timeless Label Punch. The Time for Tags stamp set is a Hostess stamp set which you still have time to earn with Stampin’ Rewards. With cute sentiments to suit lots of occasions, it makes great tags and some fun cards – as you can see.
I used the beautiful felt embellishments from the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit in colours of Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Pacific Point which coordinate so well with the Birthday Bonanza paper.
You can order any of the products required to make these cards by clicking on the images below which will take you to my online store.

Well, this might be your 3rd stop by my blog in 24 hours. It has been a busy day in the crafting world! We are bringing sunshine to you no matter where you are right now. Welcome to Stamping Flair. It’s our Colour Combo Blog Hop and I’ve got a trio of cards to share with you.
I’ve used the Witty-Cisms stamp set to create my cards and have combined all 3 of our colours – Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Gray Granite on each. By selecting Whisper White as my card base, I was able to vary the intensity of the colours according to the type of card.
Each of my cards use scrap Gray Granite cardstock cut into various widths which feature in some way and add interest to these cards.
My first card is this cute baby card and gingham is such a great pattern for new born projects. The Ornate Floral Embossing Folder combined with some Purple Posy linen ribbon adds a softness which complements this card.
This graduation card has been kept simple with classic lines and some colouring in using Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.
The last card, I think would suit a retirement. This too features the Gray Granite card scrap but you can see how effective it looks at that angle. The other half of the cardstock has been embossed with the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have been inspired by my cards to give the stamp set or perhaps the scraps technique a try. All products I have used are listed at the end of this post. Next on the hop is Judith Postler. Please click on the Next button to visit her blog.

Welcome to Stamping Flair on this lovely Saturday morning in Blind Bight, Victoria. I’m hopping with other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world in the Stamp N’ Hop blog hop. Our projects will be all about the little folk in our lives – babies, todddlers, young ones.
Although Autumn here in Melbourne, we’ve been getting a few warm days this past week so I created a card along the beach theme. Children enjoy spending summer days at the beach and I thought this would make for a bright and cheery card. These two little girls make me imagine that they are sisters enjoying a family holiday. I can just hear them chattering with excitement as they talk about the beautiful sand castle they are building.
After selecting which stamp set I wanted to use, my next decision was a main colour. I chose Pineapple Punch as I have not used it a lot and it will be retiring in a couple of months. So I thought I’d show it some love.
I had an oval which I had previously cut from the Heirloom Frames Dies which I then embossed with the 3D embossing folder that is included with the Dies. I then went over the embossing in Pineapple Punch ink using a sponge dauber. This really picked up the beautiful embossed pattern even more. I added an extra Pineapple Punch oval frame cutout from the Layering Ovals dies to create the inner frame.
The shells were stamped in Balmy on a bit of left over Shimmery White cardstock I had which had been sponged with Coastal Cabana, Pear Pizzazz and Balmy Blue and then spritzed. These were layered on elements and a sentiment from the Kerchief Card kit. **
Products used to create this card are listed at the bottom of this post. I’ve had lots of fun creating this summery card for the little loves in our lives and I hope you have enjoyed your visit here. Let me know what you liked about it – I’d love to hear your comments and answer any questions you may have. Next on our hop is Jill Chapman. Click on the Next button to see her lovely project.
**Since this card was made, the Kerchief Card Kit is no longer available. There are several other items that are still available in the Sale-A-Bration offering where you can get a free product with every $90 order increment. I have a couple of Kerchief Card Kits available. So if this is an item that you would like, I am happy to offer this to you as your Sale-A-Bration reward with your $90 order. Please contact me to place order instead of placing it online. Welcome to Stamping Flair and a brand new week. So glad you could stop by my blog. I’m hopping with my friends from the Kre8tors Blog Hop group and we have projects focusing on Brides and Babies. Both such wonderful, happy occasions and what a great reason to make a card.
I’ve chosen the Bride theme and created a fancy fold congratulatory card for a wedding using the beautiful Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper. This paper has such a vintage look so I created a vintage feel, Front Flip card. This is a very quick fold to make and decorate. The card base is a single layer. The front flap is scored in half and the back part is adhered to the card base.
I really love the script paper in this pack and used it on the base. The flap part has another piece of DSP attached to the front and I stamped the inside with images from the For the Love of Felt stamp set. I like this stamp set for it’s simple, clean images and although designed for the coordinating, For the Love of Felt Project Kit, this set has some lovely images, especially for simple stamping.
The addition of the Delicate Lace die cut border and the Scalloped Lace Trim just add to the vintage feel of this card. The butterfly has been coloured with Stampin’ Blends and I’ve gone around the edges of it, as well as the circles and sentiment with a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink.
Measurements are listed at the bottom of this post.
