Hello and welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge Blog Hop. Today’s challenge is a dice throw and we had to use each of the sides facing up.
I combined this with a Colour Palette challenge I have weekly on my FB page. This colour palette had Tahitian Tide which is an In-Color for just one more day. It retires at the end of today. I felt all the elements would blend well to create a beautiful sympathy card.
The bird was coloured in Watercolour Pencils and added to a tag die cut from the Tailor Made Tags. These dies are retiring and are one of my must-have dies. They are so handy to have whether you create tags or use it as part of another project. .
I used a blender pen to colour in the bottom of the die cut shells from the Seaside Bay dies with Tahitian Tide ink. As for the other colour that came through on the shell – I think there may have been some residue of another ink on my Blender Pen. It worked out well and I love the shading. To colour in the top part of the shell, I inked up the large crab with Tahitian Tide ink and stamped the body over the shell. This gave the shell a mottled appearance.
Some Tahitian Tide In-Color Pearls were added to embellish my card. I like the soft colours of this card with the white space around which brings a sense of calm and works well for a sympathy card.
I hope you have been inspired by this card and I encourage you to create something with this dice throw. Please follow our hop through for more inspiration.

Hi friends, For our Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop we are following a sketch by our Guest Designer Margaret Hammersley Spencer. This is my second blog hop today and I’m on a roll with the masculine themed projects. For this layout I’ve used the Trusty Tools bundle.
For the first time I created an 8″ x 8″ page adding the Fresh as a Daisy DSP and Tartan Foil DSP on my base. This might become a new favourite as I’m loving the more condensed version where I can still preserve memories in a more compact way.
I coloured in some tools with Stampin’ Blends and the tool box was blended in Sweet Sorbet using a Blending Brush. I added a few little additions with some leftover Silver Foil I had. Silver Foil is making a much anticipated return in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue which is sure to please everyone.
My sentiment was added directly onto the tool box for a personalised touch. This would make a great gift for Father’s Day with some pictures of Dad added in those frames.
Each week my newsletter subscribers receive an exclusive free tutorial and this week this page layout will be one of the tutorials included. To subscribe click here.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and I hope you have been inspired to scrap your memories and perhaps create a gift with them.
Please follow our hop through for lots more inspiration using this great sketch.

Hello and welcome to the New at SU blog hop for April. Today we have a very exciting and interesting challenge. Each of us will be CASEing another one of our New at SU team members. I find these particular chllaneges extra fun and love being inspired by my friends.
For my project I have used the new Adventurous Sky bundle and it’s coordinating Take to the Sky suite to create a masculine themed card.
I am CASEing Heather Cooper from Playing with Papercrafting and chose one of her past New at SU projects. This one goes all the way back to April 2022. Click on the image below to view the details of Heather’s project.
I was inspired by the frame that Heather had created and replicated that using the Deckled Rectangles dies. The frame was die cut 4 times (I cut 2 at once to save time) and then I embossed one frame with the new So Swirlly Embossing Folder. On the back of the frame I added one of the smaller DSP panels which is on the sheet which has the tags.
I loosely followed the layout of Heather’s card, adding my own variation to it. The plane was ccoloured with Stampin’ Blends and added to 2 smaller strips of DSP which were offset against each other. I just love the colours of the Designer Series Paper and drew on that for my card.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please leave me a comment as you go through to view Heather Cooper’s creation.

It’s time for another Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop with the Crafty Collaborations team. I’m using the Let’s go Fishing Designer Series Paper which has some lovely generic neutral designs in addition to it’s fishing themed images.
For the top of my design I angled a small strip of DSP. This was balanced with a strip of the same DSP at the bottom and the largest DSP panel which were both placed at the same angle.
I wanted to create space for smaller photos as well as a feature larger photo. Using the Stylish Shapes dies square die I created my polaroid look photo frames. At the back of it I added some Gray Granite mattes for the photos. Some Black and White photos would look great in these 3 smaller frames with a colour photo for the larger frame.
I’ve also used the Beauty of the Deep bundle for some stamped and die cut images adding some fussy cut fish from the DSP to swim around my page.
The large frame was placed straight to ground all the different angles that were on the page, bringing it together with another strip of DSP at the bottom.
This Designer Series Paper coordinates with the Let’s go Fishing bundle which will be carrying over into the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. The paper is currently on our Last Chance sale and reduced to $10.87 (from $21.75), Grab yourself a pack (or two) of this while supplies last.

This or That? I wonder what you will pick in our challenge today? It’s the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop (AWOW for short) and this month we are sharing not just 1 but 2 projects with our This or That April challenge.
It could be different orientations of the same layout, perhaps different colours, alternate Designer Series Papers, different colouring mediums – the possibilities are endless. I’ve chosen the new Country Flowers bundle from the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue for my This or That projects and went with varied interior decor styles.
We need YOU to participate today by commenting and letting us know whether you pick This or That!
THIS – SHABBY CHIC
For my first project I went with a shabby chic style with soft pinks and white. I used Watercolour Pencils to colour in my image.
Of course there had to be a doily in there for a beautiful country look. On top of that I added some Cardstock which I had treated with Embossing Paste I coloured with Pretty in Pink. First I applied a layer with a Palette Knife and then I added more paste through a mask. Once it dried I used my finger to dab on a little more ink over the panel. This was then torn to create a rustic look.
THAT – COASTAL
When I saw this particular background I immediately though of the beach. I’ve kept the layout the same as the previous card. Alternating the leaves for the flowers fit the coastal vibe and colours.
Along with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper, I’ve also used the new So Swirly Embossing Folder. Keep an eye out for this Embossing Folder in the new releases. It’s a large 6″ x 8 1/2″ (15.2 x 21.6 cm). I added the surfboard and life buoy from the Beach Day bundle for an extra beachy feel.
I will be recreating this particular card on my FB Live tonight at 7:30 AEST. Replay will also be available on YouTube later on today.
Now, it’s your turn to let me know what your favourite is. I can’t wait to hear your selection. As for me, I don’t know what my favourite is 😂 as I really enjoyed creating them both.
Thank you so much for stopping by my corner of the world in Melbourne. I hope you enjoy all the beautiful inspiration you are going to be treated to today as you travel Around the World with us.
Next on our hop is my friend Cheryll Miller and I know she will have something amazing to share with you.

It’s time for our Scrapbooking Global blog hop for March and we are celebrating hobbies. If you are a regular to my blog, you will notice that this is the second page that I have created today using the Rock Star bundle. It is completely different to the earlier one I did which you can check out HERE.
With our theme being hobbies, it was an easy choice for me to go with the music theme as I come from a family of musicians. The microphone was for my daughter who loves singing. I really wanted a pink microphone not just for Cassidy, but because I wanted to step away from the grungy look of the suite and go soft and pretty for this project.
The layout of the page has been set up with a few panels of Designer Series Paper. I kept the bottom left of the page free for some notes. If you want, another little frame can be added in that gap instead of journalling.
On top of the Rays of Light image I added the leaves to create a little canopy around the microphone. On the base Cardstock I stamped some leaves in Bubble Bath for a soft background. I also stamped some flowers from the Artistically Inked stamped set in second generation stamping for just a faint watercolour look.
I added some dotted lines with a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, using a ruler as a guide, to frame the photo mattes and draw the eye towards the focal image of the microphone which was glittered up with some Wink of Stella.
Thanks for stopping by and please check out our other participants to see what hobbies they are showcasing.
