I’ve been inspired by this sketch at Freshly Made Sketches for the design of this card. The beautiful Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper provided the focal point for my card. Just use the Blossoming Happiness Dies to die cut the images and you have some quick pre-coloured images to add to your projects.
To create the panels I blended some Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay ink on 1 rectangle. On the other I lightly blended some Coastal Cabana and then using the background die as a mask, I added Coastal Cabana through the openings. This created a subtle background for the second panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue retiring list has been released and many of our much-loved products are set to go. Generally, In-Color products will be one of the first items to run out. Shop early so you don’t miss out on your favourite papercrafting and cardmaking supplies.
The Band Together stamp set and coordinating Detailed Band Dies featured in these cards are retiring. The intricate bands are lovely and you have a nice variety of sentiments to use on the outside and inside of cards.
To create the above card I used my blending brushes with some Mango Melody, Magenta Madness and Gorgeous Grape inks on Basic White cardstock. Then I embossed it with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder (now retired). The band across creates such an intricate frame.
This next card has been embossed first and then I took my Rococo Rose ink pad direct to the Pearlescent paper. The flowers were coloured in using sponge daubers – a simple and quick way to add colour to your images.

We’re continuing our fun today with the our Countdown to the end of Sale-A-Bration. The Corner Bouquet stamp set is one that could be easily overlooked as by just looking at the cover, it doesn’t look that interesting. However, there are so many beautiful techniques that can be achieved with this set.
Simple, yet elegant this card makes use of 3 Sale-A-Bration items – including the Heal your Heart stamp Set and Flower & Field DSP. Adding a few layers with some simple stamping can create quick and beautiful cards.
Here’s another card with a simple layout which can be duplicated. Simple stamping makes mass production of cards a breeze. We all need so many thank you cards don’t we?

I love a card sketch and for today’s Sale-A-Bration countdown I have got 1 card sketch presented 4 ways. Simple and effective, a card sketch can get your creativity flowing and give you many options in the way you interpret it.
The Sale-A-Bration freebie Flower and Field Designer Series Paper provided my colour palette for my cards. Stampin’ Up! provides a useful tool at the back of the paper packs and in the catalogues. In it, you are given the colours that coordinate with the DSP (Designer Series Paper). Now, you don’t have to stick with it, but it sure makes it easy for creating.
My sketch was flipped horizontally and vertically giving 4 different cards.
The stamped images and sentiments are from the Touch of Ink stamp set. You can get this set free with any order of $180.
Being a two-step stamp set, this is a great set to create quick coloured images. Sentiments to complement many occasions make this a handy set to have in your stash.
The DSP has a lovely range of colours from neutrals and subtles to brights. This next card has a fun feel to it and is a great way of saying a cheerful ‘hello’.

I’ve chosen a firm favourite and I think a front runner – the Darling Donkeys stamp set to create a simple fancy fold. The Flower & Field Designer Series Paper which I’ve used is another Sale-A-Bration product.
I used Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to colour in the donkey. I added some faint sponging in Pool Party as a sky and a bit of Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends for some ground to stand on.
This card opens up to reveal a die cut sentiment which I coloured with So Saffron and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
