Today I’ve got a card which I created for a colour challenge I gave me team. This was the photo inspiration for my challenge. I love the cool tones that come through with the blue and gray.
I’ve created a background for my card using the Darling Label Punch. After punching several shapes out of Basic Gray cardstock, I embossed them with the Swirls and Curls embossing folder. This was layered on another panel of Basic Gray cardstock which was embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.
The punch comes in the Darling Label Punch Box. This was originally priced at $78 and is now only $31.20. That is a steal. At that price you can get one for a friend too.

The sentiment is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set, however after I created the card, the stamp set was no longer available. So if there’s something you like, don’t wait because things do sell out. Punches are great for creating quick cards and this card is no exception. The embossing adds extra texture and interest to an otherwise plain card. I dotted the card with Pool Party rhinestones to complement my sentiment.
