Create an Easy Drop Down Fancy Fold Card

Today I’m sharing a card I created inspired by the Craft Roulette Show Episode #304. This was another outcome of the show’s mantra ‘all parameters are do-able’ as I had never created a Drop Down card. Such an easy fun fold card, make sure you check out my video for how I put it together.

Here are the parameters

• Colours: Mahjong
• Element: Go Wild
• Random: Hand Drawn Border

I was a little bit concerned about the Mahjong colours as my initial thought was it would have to be really deep, rich colours. However, as I thought more about it, the colours from the Love Notes Designer Series Paper worked really well. Being muted tones, they were just my style and fit the challenge too.

For the element of Go Wild, I added some Garden Green leaves which were wild foliage for the purpose of this challenge. These leaves are from the Florever Florals Dies which are a March Online Exclusive product. I added a simple hand drawn border with a gold gel pen around the heart to fulfil the Random parameter.

I love that the Designer Series Paper also provided me with the sentiment to coordinate perfectly. a few extra nifty cuts of the paper provided borders and writing panels.
