Elegant Birthday Card with the Floral Charm Suite
The Floral Charm Suite is my featured product in my August Card Creations Series. Here’s a sneak peek of the 4 cards which I’ll be sharing this month, including a fancy fold.
JOIN THE CLASS
For the first of my cards in the series, this simple three-square layout was a great way to showcase the beautiful Designer Series Paper. This paper is currently on sale during our In-Color Sale which runs through 31st August.
I chose a smaller focal image as I wanted the cascade of squares to be seen through the design. The image was coloured in Watercolour Pencils to tie in with the flowers on the Designer Series Paper.
On the base of the card, a layer of corrugated Basic Beige Cardstock adds beautiful texture. The Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder is on the Last Chance list and this is a product I would encourage you to add to your stash. It’s such a useful embossing folder and works beautifully with so many projects and seasons.
